This is a discussion on Siblings within the October 2006- Precious Pumpkins forums, part of the Born in 2006 category; I was lurking and saw a post about our siblings and thought that it was kind of interesting to hear ...
How many siblings do you have? I have a brother who just turned 20 and a sister who just turned 17. I'm the oldest at almost 23
Where are they? My sister lives with my parents still and my brother lives about half way between my parents and DH/me (we're only about 20 miles apart from my house to my parents)
Are they married or have kids? neither are married or have kids although both have a boy/girl friend respectively. I adore my sisters boyfriend and can't stand my brother's girlfriend.
Are you close? We have always been fairly close because we grew up 15 miles from town so we played together or by ourselves and most of the time together won out. We are still fairly close today but not the closest but I'm sure that it will change as they get older. I'm much closer to my brother than my sister.

How many siblings do you have? 4. Two sisters and 2 brothers. I am the oldest. Then sis 22, bro 17,sis15, bro 12.
Where are they? Either here in Missouri or in Ohio.
Are they married or have kids?My oldest sister is married with one little girl who is 8 months old and is bigger than Nicholas!
Are you close? My 17 y/o brother and I are getting closer. My oldest sister and I are okay. We lived in different states our whole lives so not the closest but we talk every couple of weeks.
How many siblings do you have?
I have one brother who is 28 (I'm 31)
Where are they?
He currently lives 8 hours away but in a few weeks he is moving to Mexico for six months with his girlfriend-they are going to build houses down there
Are they married or have kids?
Neither yet but he's planning to marry this girl soon-we like her a lot.
Are you close?
We never were close-he always "blamed" me for his life problems...basically if I wasn't so perfect he wouldn't have done so poorly in school and wouldn't have been addicted to speed etc...anyhow, we are much closer now that we're adults and my dad's death brought us closer too.
How many siblings do you have? older brother (34) and younger sister (24)
Where are they? He lives in our home town about 35 min away, my sis lives out in alberta
Are they married or have kids? sis isnt, bros been married for 10 years (this aug) and has 4 kiddos
Are you close?me and sis are as close as we can be given the geographical distance lol..we have always been each others best friends, never faught. Me and bro arent close, hes kinda riding a high horse ever since his quarter life crisis and he became Dr Phil, and sicne i stopped screwing my life up and he cant make decisions for me anymore we've distanced even more.

A sister, 28, married with a daughter and living in town. A brother, 25, common-law with a son and living in Alberta. It is rare that my sister and I go a day without seeing each other (she lives less than 5 minutes away). We are a lot closer now than when we were growing up. My brother and I have always gotten along but since he had his son (and he moved past his early 20s single lifestyle) we have a lot more to talk about.

How many siblings do you have? 1 sister - 22. 1 brother - 19.
Where are they? Both live at home with my parents, 15 min away.
Are they married or have kids? My sister has a 3 year old daughter. Neither have significant others, that I know of.
Are you close? I think so. I talk to my sister almost every day and my brother every few days. I see them usually once a week or so. I think we'd be closer if either of them could drive lol, it's always me going over there, never the other way around.

How many siblings do you have? 1 brother and 1 sister
Where are they? Both in PA.
Are they married or have kids? My brother is married and has 2 daughters and my sister is divorced with a daughter and a son.
Are you close? With my brother not so much, he joined the air force when i was 4 and i never seen him much growing up. But i'm pretty close to my sister. When ever i was having problems with my mom i would just go to my sisters and hang out with her.
On a side note, my sister is 11 years older than me and my brother is 17 years older than me.

I have a brother who is 36 and married with an 8 mo. old little girl. They live 5 hours away, so we only see each other a few times a year. We are only semi-close, considering the distance, and the fact that we have nothing in common. We have very different interests in (and view point on) life.
I also have a sister who is 25 (same age as my oldest daughter! They are only 2 weeks apart). She lives at home with my Mom since my Dad passed away last year, which is only about 35 minutes away. My sister and I are very close ... even tho we've never lived together, we developed a wonderful friendship as she became an adult and we really enjoy being together. We talk on the phone at least once a day. Cooper was born on her 24th birthday!
How many siblings do you have? three brothers 29, (me 26) 23, 22 .
Where are they? all within 10 minutes of my house. The youngest one still lives at home.
Are they married or have kids? Two are married. One has 2 kids and the other has 1 .
Are you close? yes. the boys hang out together more than I hang with them. They are all into sports and I am not but other than that we see each other at least once a week ( usually ).

Where are they?
They are all currently living at home (2000 miles away). Brother1 got home in January from serving a 2-year church mission in Argentina, and is moving out in June. Sister is in college, Brother2 is about to graduate from HS and Brother3 is in 4th?5th? grade.
Are they married or have kids?
Brother1 is getting married in June, to a very sweet girl. Sister has a nice boyfriend.
Are you close?
In some ways. We have good relationships and enjoy doing things together, but I am closest to my sister. I don't know my brothers that well in some ways. In other ways I watched them all grow up, so I know their personalities very well. We just don't talk a lot, especially with us in Iowa and them all in Arizona.
How many siblings do you have? I have a 17 y/o step-sister thru my step-dad, and an 11 y/o half-sister.
Where are they? Step-sister is maybe 20 miles from me, living with her mom and stepdad. She is a wild child--beautiful looks like she's 25 and just got a DUI !!!! Her dad is gonna kill her if he ever finds out. Half-sister lives with my mom and step-dad around 40 minutes from me.
Are they married or have kids? Better not be!!
Are you close? No way, my step sister and I loved hanging out when we were 6 &10, but she hates her dad/my step-dad now and we see each other MAYBE once a year....even though we live so close to each other. My littlest sister really looks up to me...hopefully, when she becomes an adult we'll be really close, as for now, it's kinda hard to have common interests at 11 yrs difference.

A sister that will be 33 in June and a Brother that will be 31 in 12 days.

Neither are married. My sister has a 9 year old son and my brother has an almost-4 year old daughter.
Are you close?
No way. They (and my mom) decided money was more important then family when my dad passed away and my mom got all my dad's life ins money (even tho they were divorced since 98, he never changed his beneficiary info). I think I am doing better in life (if I can admit that, at this point) since they are not in my life.
How many siblings do you have? I have an identical twin sister and a little brother. I am 31 and my brother is about to turn 24 in June.
Where are they? Both of my siblings live in my hometown, which is 2 hours away from me.
Are they married or have kids? My sister is not. My brother is getting married on July 12th to his long time girlfriend.
Are you close? I am extremely close to them. My sister was in the room when Jack was born and I talk with her every day. I talk with my brother as often as possible too.

Where are they?The boys are all in Macon GA with my dad, and my sister is in SC with her mom
Are they married or have kids?Nope... they are 11, 7, 6, and 3
Are you close? Not as close as I'd like to be... we're all kind of spread out and different ages.
