Does your Pea know his/her name? Like if you ask them "What is your name?" can they tell you. I just recently saw a friend whose daughter turned 2 in May and she knows her full name. Wow! I felt like a bad mommy! Cam responds to his name, but doesn't "know" it to say it. So, we've been working on it, and he sounds too darn cute! He almost always switches his middle and last name. Also, when I say to him "Cam, what is your name?" he replies with "Name is!"

Audrey knows it when she wants to. Some days she will tell me she says Rodrey Layne ... LOL Other times it seems as if I am bothering her by asking her questions and just ignores me!

Olivia responds to her name but I've never asked her. I will do that tonight. I'm sure she wouldn't know her last name. I think it really just depends what things you work on with your kiddo.

Brynna tries to say her name, and if she could pronounce her middle name, she would know it too. We call her Brynna Annabelle or even just Annabelle a lot. But, I don't know that I've ever really discussed our last name with her. She's probably never heard it all together?? When she tries to say her name it sounds more like Ben-a.

Sam knows his name and will repeat 'Sam-el' after we say it. But, he won't say it if I ask him what his name is. We've been working on that...I also started to teach him to say he's two when people ask his age (won't be two for awhile....but that's probably when he'll start catching on anyway).

Anna says her name, first middle and last. She's been saying her first name now for some months (it's a pretty easy one to say!) and she recently started saying her middle and last name (those of you who are my facebook friends know the last name is a mouthful! lol) We hadn't tried to "teach" the last name to her, but I think she's picked it up from when I use her full in name in "Cross Mommy Voice".. as in Anna Gail Lastname, get down off that table!! lol

No, Caiti has never said her own name. She sure says Matt enough times during a day though. lol Matt just now learned his full name really well and he's three, so I'm in no big rush.

Kaia has never said her name.... and while I know she knows her name, the reaction I get when I say her name ranges from mild interest (if she things I might have something that will please her highness), to blatant disregard (if she knows she don't want what I'm selling). She's a troublemaker, that one!

Grace says her first name if we ask her to say it. I need to teach her to say her full name. But one thing I've noticed is that she doesn't really speak in the "third person". She always says "I do it." or "I go bye-bye now".
