Lets compare...
I was thinking about a couple of things this morning... (actually, I believe I think most of the time, but I'm not always sure about that-- especially now that everyone's home for the summer vaca, but anyway...)
... where was I? Oh yeah. I was wondering specifically about what the other peas (and pea parents) were doing in a couple of particular areas. And my goodness, it's taking me a long time to get to the point. So I'll just get there and forget the staging of these questions:
1. Is your Pea still in a high chair? If not, where?
2. Is your Pea still sleeping in a crib? If not, where?
3. Is your Pea still napping? If so, how long?
4. Does your Pea drive you crazy? If so, how often?
That's all I wanted to know!

Re: Lets compare...
1. Is your Pea still in a high chair? If not, where?
Nope. I made the mistake about a month ago of feeding her ONE TIME at the table. She wouldn't EVER get back in the high chair. I miss the confinement.
2. Is your Pea still sleeping in a crib? If not, where?
Yes! Are you kidding? After what I learned in #1 I'm not about to risk it. And since I know there are no more babies heading my way... ever... I think I may keep her there until she moves out.
3. Is your Pea still napping? If so, how long?
Yep! Thank goodness! Once a day, for about 2 1/2 hours. YAY!
4. Does your Pea drive you crazy? If so, how often?
I adore my darling girl, but ABSOUTELY she does. And on daily basis. She also makes me laugh daily, and makes me feel very lucky daily. But she drives me crazy too.

Re: Lets compare...
1. Is your Pea still in a high chair? If not, where?
Nope, when we moved 2 months ago, I started her in the booster seat at the table. She loves it!
2. Is your Pea still sleeping in a crib? If not, where?
She is in a crib, but she has mastered climbing completely out of it, so when the money fairy drops some at my doorstep I am going to get her a toddler bed room set. I am also considering getting Sophia involved in the Olympics as a gymnast. She is darn good! Either that or professional rock climbing since she climbs so well!
3. Is your Pea still napping? If so, how long?
Yup, still napping. She naps once a day for about 2.5 to 3 hours depending on how busy her morning was!! Thank god for that!!
4. Does your Pea drive you crazy? If so, how often?
I love my little girl to death, but I am very thankful for the time that she gets to spend with her father at his house. She is an absolute doll and I can't imagine my time without her but I have begun counting the new grey hairs that sprout up on a daily basis. There are times that I feel like I might call the local hospital and ask if they have any beds available in a room with padded walls!!

Re: Lets compare...
You guys make me laugh!
1. Is your Pea still in a high chair? If not, where?
Sam is in his high chair, but it's really more like a booster at this point...the tray pulls off and he sits at the table. I don't use the straps any more...he climbs and out of it. But the straps are there if I need them!
2. Is your Pea still sleeping in a crib? If not, where?
Sam is in his crib thankfully. He has never climbed out of it. I plan to chance him over before he's two.
3. Is your Pea still napping? If so, how long?
Napping 1-2 times a day for at least 2 hours total. Love it!
4. Does your Pea drive you crazy? If so, how often?
Sam is practicing being two years old quite well...at least in the stubborn department. He has taken to throwing fits for me (not dh...grrr) when it's time to change his diaper, take a bath, you name it! After my friend just losing her son, though - it puts those little annoyances all in perspective.

Re: Lets compare...
1. Is your Pea still in a high chair? If not, where? No, he's in a booster seat at the table with us.
2. Is your Pea still sleeping in a crib? If not, where? We just switched him to a toddler bed this weekend after him sleeping with us for 2 weeks because he refused to sleep in his crib.
3. Is your Pea still napping? If so, how long? Most days he still takes 2 I believe but it's normally one catnap and one 2-3 hour nap.
4. Does your Pea drive you crazy? If so, how often? Parker is practicing terrible two's also. He's very stubborn and independent these days.

Re: Lets compare...
1. Is your Pea still in a high chair? If not, where?
Yes, but she alternates between the booster and her high chair.
2. Is your Pea still sleeping in a crib? If not, where?
We moved her into a big girl bed when she was about 16 months old. She does very well in her bed. We've never had a problem with her wandering around her room or getting into mischief. She just sits up and keeps talking until me or Dh come get her.
3. Is your Pea still napping? If so, how long?
One nap for about 1.5 hours. I wish she took a longer nap, but she's never been a great sleeper so I've just learned to accept it.
4. Does your Pea drive you crazy? If so, how often? Some days are worse than others, but for the most part, I love this age! She is definately a momma's girl. There are times when I need a break though. Dh works late, so my days feel especially LONG. It's hard keeping her entertained. She's become very picky and tempermental these days. Our biggest issues revolve around food and diaper/clothe changes. This girl has a mind of her own!!!

Re: Lets compare...
1. Is your Pea still in a high chair? If not, where?
Well, this has been an interesting journey!! We had him in one of those space saver type highchairs in the kitchen until about 2 months ago when he started to climb it and get up on the counters (DH was feeding Charleigh and turned around to find Dom up on the counter playing with the microwave, LOL). Then we started to put the chair on the floor.... he started to use that as a climbing device also. Now, he freaks out when he sees it and wants no part of it and we need to eat at the table with him... we need to eat at the table anyways so this is good and he enjoys it. Now he sits in a chair called a Tripp Trapp, we have had it since shortly after Christmas but didn't use it a lot.
2. Is your Pea still sleeping in a crib? If not, where?
He is going to be there for a LONG time! He hasn't got out yet... strips himself (including the diaper) and thows everything out of the crib, but remains inside himself, so thats good.
3. Is your Pea still napping? If so, how long?
OMG thank goodness he naps for at least 1, 3-4 hour stretch in the afternoon.... wouldn't you if you where that busy??
4. Does your Pea drive you crazy? If so, how often?
LOL, if you haven't got the jist of my day throughout this post... yes he drives me nuts pretty much all the time, he is constantly finding new ways to drive me up the wall... but secretly I think I enjoy almost every minute of it!

1. Is your Pea still in a high chair? If not, where?
Yes.
2. Is your Pea still sleeping in a crib? If not, where?
Yes. Coleton will be 4 in Aug and he is still in a crib... I know, crazy - long story.
3. Is your Pea still napping? If so, how long?
Generally 2 hours.
4. Does your Pea drive you crazy? If so, how often?
She is the light of my life, yet she does drive me crazy. She is so high maintenance - still wants to be held and carried around like a baby, and her speach is still quite limited so we both get frusterated a lot when she just screams "meeeeeeeeee" and I say "Me what? What do you want?" and she just continues to screams "Meeeeeeeeeeeeee" LOL

Re: Lets compare...
Is your Pea still in a high chair?
Just switched him over to a booster seat (actually it's the travel high chair with the tray removed) and it's been a bit of an adventure. He loves to climb in and out and prop his feet up on the table.
Is your Pea still sleeping in a crib?
Yes he is. Planning to make the transition at the end of July or so when we go on a mini-vacation to Disney (he'll sleep with me since he doesn't fit in the pack-n-play anymore).
Is your Pea still napping? If so, how long?
We're basically down to 1 nap a day for about 3 hours.
Does your Pea drive you crazy? If so, how often?
Yes, but I wouldn't have it any other way. He's VERY much a boy and loves the words mine and no. He likes to be the center of attention too and he's very active. But, he's still my baby and will snuggle with me (for about 5 min).

Re: Lets compare...
1. Is your Pea still in a high chair? If not, where?
Yes and No - sometimes he uses it, sometimes he sits at the table, we just let him do whatever, as long as he eats!
2. Is your Pea still sleeping in a crib? If not, where?
Yep, still in the crib. We haven't had any problems with climbing out, so he'll stay there until we do.
3. Is your Pea still napping? If so, how long?
Yes, thank goodness! Usually 2 to 3 hours in the afternoon.
4. Does your Pea drive you crazy? If so, how often?
All the time! But yet he can be the most loveable, huggable little guy, too. I wouldn't trade it for anything!

Re: Lets compare...
1. Is your Pea still in a high chair? If not, where?
Yes, but I think it's days are numbered. We've not let her eat at the table in a regular/booster chair yet, but she does like to sit there and color. Trying to keep her in the highchair - and contained - as long as we can!
2. Is your Pea still sleeping in a crib? If not, where?
Pretty much the same as above, yes, she's still in a crib, but probably not for much longer. We'll see. She hasn't tried to get out yet but I think she could if she wanted to.
3. Is your Pea still napping? If so, how long?
Yes, about 2 hrs after lunch. She definitely still needs it, some days we have trouble keeping her awake through the morning. She gets up VERY early. Once I'm off for the summer I'm going to try putting her to bed earlier and see if that helps.
4. Does your Pea drive you crazy? If so, how often?
Yes. Daily. That's why they make the little critters so cute, so you don't set them out on the curb at the end of the day with a for sale sign!

2. Is your Pea still sleeping in a crib? If not, where? Yep
3. Is your Pea still napping? If so, how long? Depends on the day. She has actually taken on the schedule of sleeping till 11:30 or so and not napping recently.
4. Does your Pea drive you crazy? If so, how often? Absolutely.....every day!

Re: Lets compare...
. Is your Pea still in a high chair? If not, where? no, booster chair
2. Is your Pea still sleeping in a crib? If not, where? no. I was never able to get her in hers in the first place! She sleeps in her "bed" her crib mattress is on the floor between our bed and the wall. We are hoping to transition in to her own room this summer.
3. Is your Pea still napping? If so, how long? Yes 1 time most days for 2-3 hours sometimes 2 naprs the am one for 1 hour the pm one for 2 hours.
4. Does your Pea drive you crazy? If so, how often? Not really. She is a very easy going little girl. She is great at communicating and lets me know what she wants/ needs. I can usually reason with her if it's something I don't want her to have. It's the older two kids that are getting to me this summer!!!

Re: Lets compare...
1. Is your Pea still in a high chair? If not, where? Until a couple of weeks ago, no. He's recently decided that he LOVEs his high chair, and started asking "I Seet?", so we let him sit in it, and now he sits in it for every meal. I just ordered a little table/chairs set for him and we'll switch to that when it comes. He sits at a table in a chair at daycare, so he's used to it already.
2. Is your Pea still sleeping in a crib? If not, where? Thank God, Yes! Well, until he wakes up, then he comes to our bed for the rest of the night still. Hopefully that's about over too.
3. Is your Pea still napping? If so, how long? Yup. He takes one nap a day, anywhere from 1-3 hours long...generally closer to two hours though.
4. Does your Pea drive you crazy? If so, how often? Of course, and then he'll do something so adorable that it makes me melt.

Re: Lets compare...
1. Is your Pea still in a high chair? If not, where? Still in a high chair
2. Is your Pea still sleeping in a crib? If not, where? Yes
3. Is your Pea still napping? If so, how long? 1-2 a day; if 2 naps they are shorter, maybe 2 hours. If she only gets 1 then it's anywhere from 2-4 hours.
4. Does your Pea drive you crazy? If so, how often? Umm...Can we say drama and temper tantrums? Here are some quick examples: She wears a white onesie under her jammies. One night all the white ones were in the laundry (I hadn't brought it up yet) so I took out a striped one. She kept shaking her head no and started crying because it was the wrong onesie. Example 2: We were going out so I asked her to get her shoes. She grabbed one and I couldn't find the other one so I grabbed a different pair and she threw a complete tantrum. (It was kind of funny). And just today? She can now open up our tall kitchen cabinet that has snacks (it's floor to ceiling). She grabbed a bag of goldfish and I told her no (it was only 9:15). She was upset but I wasn't in the mood to fight and William didn't help by opening up a bag for himself. I gave Sarah her snack trap and she threw a complete fit because she wanted it from the bag. UGH!!!

Re: Lets compare...
1. Is your Pea still in a high chair? If not, where?
Marissa was never in a high chair. She's in a chair that straps to the seat (but has buckles and a tray, so it's not quite a booster seat).
2. Is your Pea still sleeping in a crib? If not, where?
Yes. She loves her crib. She's happy to play in there for long periods of time.
3. Is your Pea still napping? If so, how long?
Yes! I can't imagine what I would do if she weren't! She sleeps in the pm for 1.5 - 4 hours (usually closer to 1.5 or 2)
4. Does your Pea drive you crazy? If so, how often?
Sure she does. I think it's natural since we spend all day together everyday. The time of day that's the worst for me is about 5-6. That's when I'm trying to make dinner, and she's hungry and whiny and wants me to play with her. My mother calls this time "Suicide Hour" and i can see why!

4. Does your Pea drive you crazy? If so, how often? Yes, and pretty much non stop. Hes into EVERYTHING and doesnt listen to me anymore when i tell him no.

Re: Lets compare...
1. Is your Pea still in a high chair? If not, where? Sometimes in the highchair, sometimes in the booster seat, sometimes in a regular chair. Really depends on the day!
2. Is your Pea still sleeping in a crib? If not, where? Yup, although we usually bring her to bed with us later in the night. She generally doesn't sleep through the night, and we have tried pretty much everything at his point.
3. Is your Pea still napping? If so, how long? Well, after reading the other responses, I'm now convinced that we are dealing with a mild sleep disorder (kinda knew that all along - lol) - she naps 1x/day (at best)- usually for 30 mins - 1 hour 10 mins. She has actually gone a few days already without napping. Unfortunately, we pay the price as she is sleep-deprived (generally cranky after she wakes for up to an hour or so). t's exhausting, and her night sleep is a disaster. Ah well, hopefully, my kids will sleep when they are teenagers!!
4. Does your Pea drive you crazy? If so, how often? Yep, daily - I remember Katie was "challenging" from15 months until around 2. Julia seems to be following a similar path. However, she is completely funny, crazy, ridiculous, endearing, goofy, etc. the rest of the time. I'll definitely keep her - !
