Endometriosis, Fibroids - anyone have/had it?
The title says it all, really. Has anyone here had either? If so, what were your symptoms? Also, what did it look like on the u/s if you had one and were able to see it?
I have been in pain about the last week and a half and they are trying to determine what's going on with me. Had a vaginal u/s yesterday and was told I will have the results tomorrow. I saw what was a grey circular blob (for lack of a better term) in the middle of my uterus (not, let me repeat, NOT a baby, lol) and it made me wonder as fluid (blood, etc.) is black on an u/s, and tissue is grey.
My dr. did say after a pelvic that there was a definite "fullness" in that side of my uterus/lt. ovary which is what made him send me in for the u/s. He said that if it is a cyst, we are looking at surgery since I have had one removed in the past.
