Are you having an u/s around cd12-13 to see how many follicles you have? I was monitored when I conceived my ds b/c I had just stopped taking BCPs and didn't think I was O'ing on my own. My doctor put me on clomid, and had me come in for an u/s on cd13 to see how I responded to the clomid. This time I'm not scheduled for an u/s, but am starting to think it might be a good idea to have one. The bad part is that it will cost me $125-150 to have one, and I'm not sure it will be that beneficial, especially since I've ovulated on my own in the past. What do you think?

i just had an u/s for the first time this cycle. it was great to see that clomid is really working. it gave me a good idea of when i'd o, and i saw the positive opk the same day the doc said i'd o! it's amazing what can be done. on the other hand, i still would have gotten my +opk on the same day regardless of my u/s. are you doing opk's or charting? (i don't chart). if you have to pay that kind of money out of pocket, i might hold off on the u/s. if your opk's are usually accurate, i'd just stick with those. i had the u/s because i didn't see a positive the past 2 cycles but my p4 showed that i o'd. i had no idea when i was o'ing, and doc brought me in. it's up to you, but i think that if you're getting +opk's on clomid, stick with that. good luck!!

I decided against the u/s because I figured it wouldn't do much good. I got a positive opk yesterday and should O today. I'm always on pins and needles until I see that temp rise though. to you!
