Icon8 Would you be pissed?

If you went through the clomid cycle and it gave you horrible headaches and then on Cd 13 you get a rather uncomfortable u/s but the doctor said "you O'ed " now go home and get to work Then you come home and explain everything the doctor said to DH and then that evening after the kid was in bed,
you make you move and he snaps out, " I'm not going to get a break tonight, am i?"
What You're kidding right? This is the perfect time according to the doctor and now you're pulling the "I don't wanna"
Your kidding right?
So being pissed totally ruined the mood and we're missed our window for the month!!! $ for the medication $$$ for the u/s $$ for the doctor's visits... and he blew it all with 10 little words!

We've since made up and he sent roses to my work the next day because he knew it was serious when I slept on the couch.

So my question to all of you, since we're all in the same boat,
would you be pissed? how would you have handled it?

I've been there done that. I think it's best for most men that you don't say anything because they feel pressured. It is frustrating that is for sure! I'm glad you two have made up. TTC can be really hard sometimes.

Traci - Yes, I would have been pssd. I don't have no clue how I would have handled it. I do not to tell my dh when I am ovulating. I just try and get him in the mood. Telling a man we need to bd because I ovulated or I am about to ovulate puts so much pressure on a man. Did you bd the night before? If you did bd the night before then that sperm could meet the egg. The sperm can live for a few days waiting on that egg. Don't give up hope. Was this your first cycle on clomid?

You guys are probably right, I shouldn't tell him. I never thought of it that way but he did know I was going for the follie u/s and he did ask what the results were...

BeccaKay - Yes it was my first round so I guess a little more stressful since we really didn't know what to expect or when I was going to O. I had been have 37 day cycles before so we never knew.
And yes we still have a chance we BD on Thurs and Sunday and my u/s on Mon showed I had Oed on Sunday so there were plenty of to greet the little one but... I just wanted to be really sure we cover our bases, ya know?

Thanks so much for replying

ooo, also been there done that! and yes, it pisses me off. i have since adopted the "don't tell him when i get a +opk" rule. it does put a lot of pressure on my dh, and totally messes us up. i have also slept on the couch, but i didn't get roses! it is stressful when you know exactly when to do it and it doesn't work out. i ended up having to take the following day off because i had cried ALL night (thanks clomid). best wishes for the next cycle, but hopefully you caught it and will get your bfp!

Traci- I totally understand you trying to bd to really make sure you covered your bases. Don't beat yourself up because you did not get to bd that day. There are sometimes that I know that my dh and I should bd, but I am so tired of bding and I think well maybe we will be ok because we bd the night before. We all can sympathize with you about how stressed clomid can make us. I have had a couple of times where I have gone to our extra bedroom to cry myself to sleep because dh does not understand how clomid makes me so emotional. I have never gotten roses either. Tell your dh to tell my dh how to send roses. You can vent here anytime!

I'm getting that a lot that I should have my DH spread the word about apology roses

I hear ya, sometimes they just don't understand what our bodies are put through, and then there are times I think he does....why do they all have to be such men ?

Thanks so much!

Yes, I would have been furious ; however, if you O'd on Sunday, dtd on Monday night would have been too late anyway. It sounds like you ended up having perfect timing!!!
