When to take Clomid

I will be starting clomid tomorrow (Wed). When is the best time to take it at night before bed or in the morning? I am not looking foward to the s/e I have been reading and hearing about but excited to try it for the first time. I sure hope this works. Best of luck to you all.

hi stefanie,
my GYN advise me to take it at night... i'm not sure why... i'm going to start my clomid
right after my AF is here...

Thanks for your reply. I have been hearing that it is best to take it at night but was unsure. I tried to call my GYN to make sure and she is out of the office for a week and I start it on Wed. so I think that I will try it at night. So is this your first round of Clomid? Hope we can keep one another posted on our progress. Thanks

I always take mine before i go to bed..it seems to lessen the S/E..HTH Good luck!!!

I also took mine before bed, right around 9, with a big glass of water and a little food (a cracker or too) my GYN siad that s/e would be limited but the pharamist said i could expereince dizziness so taking it before bed can help since you can sleep through it. I just finished my first round of 50mg on sunday night, woke up this am feeling a bit off (head feels full, heavy, a bit weird) but other then that no s/e thus far!

yeah it will be my first time of clomid...

Thank you all for your posts. I think I am going to take it at night time. I sure hope I don't have the s/e that would be GREeeeeaaaatttttt!!!! Oh yeah and I start Clomid on Thursday night I looked at my calendar wrong this morning. Sorry!!! Good luck to you all.

i took mine at night with midal(my cousin said it helps). i took my last pill on monday and today i've been feeling a little discomfot but not that much and i've been a major b***h.

Well guys tonight is my first night taking Clomid. I looked at my calendar wrong when I said that last night should have been my first night. I hope taking Clomid helps. Wish me Luck.

I take my last pill tonight. Still no s/e which is good but I am sure they will come after the last pill. I am having one problem though I am still bleeding from my period and I am worried that it is not going to quit when I need it too. Which just messes everything up according to when my dr told me and my husband to "get together".
Not sure what is going on. I think it has to do from when I quit taking the birth control early because it was making me sick. I will keep you guys posted.
