So today is day 14 for me but my OPK tests have been negative thus far. They say they predict O 24 to 48 hours in advance so I'm kind of concerned that I haven't seen a surge yet Just curious what others experiences may be...... oh and I took clomid days 5 through 9 so today is my fifth day since last pill

No worries! I took Clo cd's 3-7 and O'd on day 16. I got a +opk on day 16 and o'd that night (i could almost tell the folicies were leaving my ovaries....i had some mad cramps!) I assume if you took it cd 5-9 then you might o around cd 18, but everyone is different. The research i did said that if you are usually a 28 cycler then Clo can longate your cycles, but if you are 45+ cycler (like me, the longest cycle I had was 58....ouch!) then Clo can dramatically reduce the length of your cycle again as it did for me (58 -> 31 that almost two for the price of one!)

Dont worry, it will be fine. Start bd'ing now for everyother day until lh surge and O, then increase to once a day until the surge has left your body (thats what dh and I do anyways). But do know that that you can O 12-24 hours after you catch the INITIAL part of your surge, not after the surge has left your body (some women like me will surge for 3-4 days) if your lucky you will be able to tell when you o by slight cramping - (that info was straight out of ob/gyn's mouth)

Thanks so much for the info!!! The more I read I definitely am learning that alot of women ovulate later than day 14/15, I guess I'm just super anxious Well hopefully when I go home and test today the line will be a little darker. Wow can't imagine being 6 days from taking a HPT though, talk about being ANXIOUS!!!! I wish you all the best and truckloads of baby dust

So still no positive OPK for me!!! and todays day 17 I'm trying to stay positive but I'm really getting discouraged. I go for my CD21 progesterone check on tues so I'm sure that will give a better idea of what's going on with me. Tomorrow I will use my last test so I'm wondering do I need to go buy another kit and keep BDing????? Doc said only needed to BD days 12 through 19 but that's probably assuming I ovulated day 14 or 15 which I didn't Any thoughts? Has anyone ever ovulated despite a negative OPK?

I buy the cheap Answer OPK's from like Walgreens, they are the smaller test strips that you dip into a cup or fmu. You get like 20 strips for the same price you get 3 urine stream sticks, if you want to keep tracking i suggest using Answer, it is much more cost effiecnt and that way you can track for an extended amount of time. Hang in there, my fingers are crossed for you!
