Tomorrow starts round 2 of clomid...

Hey ladies---this board seems pretty quiet, but I thought I'd just post that tomorrow starts round 2 of clomid for me (days 5-9....last month I accidently took it 6-10, oops!). I'm praying it works this round!

Also, any advice on BD-ing?? Every day or every other day?? (I know the answer my DH likes...hahaha)

I've heard both, so I was wondering what the general consensus was.

My vote on BDing is everyday, especially if you know when you O.

GL! I hope this is your cy. I'm new to the Clomid thing . . . what is the difference in the days you take Clomid? I've read some do days 5-9, others 4-8, and others 3-7. Anyone know?

Hi Sarah. I just wrapped up my first round of Clomid so I'm waiting to see if it works. As for BDing, every other day is okay, every day is better as long as there isn't a problem with the swimmers. Anything more than once a day defeats the reproduction purpose as it takes about 24-36 hours to fully recharge.

A lot of it is physician preference, there's not a lot of clinical evidence but the general belief is that days 3-7 will produce more follies and days 5-9 produce less amounts of follies but they're better in quality.

Thanks! I think I just started spotting, so tomorrow should be CD 1 for me. I just picked up my prescription for Clomid, so I'm looking forward to starting that. GL, Sarah . . . I'm going to keep an eye on your cy!

Good luck...........I know this board does seem quiter than I remember. I go in tomorrow to get scripts for clomid and glucophage.............hoping this does the trick for me.

Thanks everyone....I don't know what's going on with my cycle, but I think I might be coming down with a cold!!!!

On my b-day weekend!!!

And even more importantly, right when I'll probably be ovulating! Oh well....pray for me, please...my DH has planned a birthday extravaganza for me and I know how disappointed he'll be if I can't truly enjoy it...
