Hi Everyone,,

I hope that I can get a little bit of help with this problem that I am having. I took my first dose of Clomid all went well until after a week of the pill. I am headache,, dizzy,, VERY TIRED can sleep all day. I have had tender breast's and also my tummy feels as though it's heavy inside and i have noticed that my ovaries feel as though they are throbbing.. is this a normal bout with Clomid.. When is a good time to take a test i had one the other day at the doctor's it was negative, but it was only like 7days exactly to the first day of intercourse? please help me annnyyyooonneee;(

clomid s/e can last for awhile even after you stop taking it............... and a lot of what you mentioned sounds like s/e - did they do any b/w or such to see if it did make you O?

Hi.. sorry not sure what your lingo means.. I was told that I am to get a blood test on Saturday which will be my day 21 of this clomid .. Man what a havoc it does on your body? But yeah i need you to let me in on the secret codes you have lol not to sure what they mean ??

The blood test is most likely for progesterone which will indicated if you O'd (short for ovulated)

S/E = side effects and yeah clomid can have a lot of those - not fun...... And it does take a good while for the medicine to get out of your system so the side effects can be worse / still continue once you stop taking it. Some people get them worse than others. Since it does try and stimulate the ovaries, that's prob. what the fullness / ovary pain comes from

Well thanks for your help.. This is quite an adventure I think i might get my DH to pick up a PT to see what the results would be,, do you think this is a wise decision,, man i hate taking them, i really hope that this one is positive It sure sucks though, the Doc has taken me off of work for the next three day's.. this cant be happening every month? I was told that it might be "Hyper stimulation" of my ovaries. which i have looked into and it didn't sound good,, think that's why i was taken outta work,, man my DH is really not impressed LOL poor guy i tell ya ,, doesn't like seeing me like this

For me i relied on the progesterone tests which were way too low to even bother with testing............. if you're really curious you could test and then see what the b/w says

Have they said anything about doing an U/S to see what's going on? I had cysts the first cycle so had to sit out a month for them to go away

No i haven't had any further direction on what direction to go next, I made an appointment with my Gyno for the 8th of this month so i hope that we will figure out what to do next.. My Family Doc told me that if i was still feeling crappy by Monday that i should go back and see him ,, and then he would contact my Gyno to let her know what he scoop is with me and how I have reacted with these meds.
Ya i think i will call him and get his PT just to clear my mind,, i need to know if this is what's going on,, everyone is like ,, "are you pregnate" i am soo sick of hearing that LOL It seem's that everyone else has the bug but me"gettting preggo" lol

I had zero s/e when ttc DS#1 but this time has been horrible. Last cycle I thought for sure i was pregnant. I had the tender breasts, fullness in belly, very emotional and moody and soo tired I could hardly stand it. It lasted about 2 weeks or so for me and about the timw I got to feeling better PMS kicked in and now i'm on day 2 of clomid and already feel terrible. Hang in there it's worth it

Great that sounds promising,, Do you work?? this is impossible to work when your feeling like this all the time,, My poor man he's worried sick about me ,, this does seem worth it all to me as well but , as for my job what happens there? I deal with great amount's of money,, I need to make sure that i am level headed?
Well your symptom's sound as though we would be two pea's in a pod LOL do you also have like a heavy head and dizziness as well because i feel as though i got hit by a truck !

I am very new to all of this, so I don't know the lingo yet! I just got clomid and have not started taking it yet. I am a little confused with everything. My doc told me that I O every month like clock work, and we got pregnant once, but it didnt carry. We have been trying for over a year and that was the only time anything happened. Should I even be taking this? I will probably end up with twins!

well i honestly have no idea this is my first time as well and as of right now i feel as though i was hit by a truck LOL ,, i will be taking a PT tomorrow i hope it comes out positive ,, i don't want to have to go through this again >>???
