My name is Ericka and I am new to this forum and new to taking clomid! I'm excited to start!
My husband and I have been married for three years, ttc for about 4 years =/
I finally have gone to a fertility specialist (took me long enough, I know) I think I might not be ovulating every cycle, so I really hope this pill is all we need! So I start on 100mg tomorrow (cd 5), and my question was, I totally forget when my doctor said to start with the every other day thing with my husband? I know we could just start early and be fine, but he will be traveling for work, so just wondering when to tell him he definitely needs to be home to get the job done! hehe ;p Also, has anyone else been started on 100mg? I see most women get started on 50mg? For 100mg, are the side effects any worse?

hi there - ive just stared this week too - am taking 5mg from days 2-6 - it think you are foreceast to get your ov about 6-12 days after your last clomid pill so start doing it around then i guess ?i think 100 is quite high but I guess yr doctor has his reasons?

i'm starting today!! and going to take it tonight... i'm getting nervous...
doc ask me to have a follicles scan on CD12 which means on 23rd May.
Wow I cant wait that long!! anyway good lucks to all of us here...

Thank you mellydono and aishiteru! Good luck to both of you as well!!! I am kinda nervous about taking clomid tonight, but so excited at the same time! I'm not sure if I'm having a follicles scan... my next thing is to have FSH and E2 levels drawn on cd10... but I'm not even sure what E2 is, haha. Anyway, thanks so much for replying and lots of baby dust to you all =D

hey! i just did my first bit of clomid last night, and i got a little dizzy, but not too bad... enough i almost bumped into the wall when i stood up, but other than being kinda funny, it's not a problem or anything =P
that's great there's no s/e for you! =]

I finished my last does of my first round on CD 7 (now on CD17 with a +opk CD16) I didn't really start feeling s/e until around CD 10. Hormone headaches that make you want to gouge your eyes out! the worst being yesterday when i ovulated!
