OPK Question...I need help!

I normally O on day 15-17 depending on the length of my cylce.

This month I was on 100mg Clomid day 3-7. I tested morning CD16 and my OPK stick clearly read +surge...and my digital monitor didn't register anything.

I am not sure which one to believe. I am scheduled to have my first IUI and I really want to make sure my timing is right.

I have posted on a couple other boards...and just wanted to see what your thoughts were.

Mindy- I would go by the +opk. You know it was + and I have heard the monitor detects your surge a little later than an opk does. Good luck on your IUI.

The EXACT same thing happened to me only I got a positve on my OPK stick on day 12 of my cycle and then on day 13 and 14 I had the two PEAk days on my monitor but on that 12th day I only had high fertility on my monitor. It's strange b/c I always O on day 15/16 and this was my 2nd cycle on 100mg of clomid so I don't know why I O'd earlier this time???

Did your monitor pick up ANYTHING at all on the day that your OPK stick was positive? Did you ever get a peak on it?

I tested the next mornig and got a + on my digitial. I had my IUI yesterday...so lets hope the timing was ok.

Why can't OPK be easier.

Is there a brand anyone prefers over the other?

That's what mine did-I got a "peak" (if that's what you mean by + ) on my monitor the day AFTER the OPK stick gave me positive results. I was actually told by the company though NOT to use a monitor anymore when taking clomid!!! Just use the regualr OPK kits.
