hiya all well this is my first time on here a bit scared not knowing what to expect just been told by doctors today they want to start me on clomid was wondering if there is anyone else out there who is on it and what is it like.

hi there. i was in your shoes a few months ago. i won't tell you to relax or that everything will be fine :-) i WILL tell you, however, that i am in the 2ww (two- week wait) after my 2nd cycle of clomid. i had very minimal side effects both times. i took 50 mg on cd4-8. how long have you been ttc? what dosage will you be taking and on which cycle days? some women have mood swings, hot flashes, or headaches due to the hormones. i had minor mood swings, but other than that i was fine. most women will tell you to take it right before bed and sleep through the side effects. i listened to them, and i don't know if it helped, but i didn't have side effects so i'll keep taking it before bed :-) when will you start the clomid? you should post on our chatty thread. the women who post there are very supportive and helpful. ask questions and you'll get answers! hope i've helped a little. i know how overwhelming it all feels, and how much you need to feel understood in your ttc journey. you've come to the right place!!

Hiya i have just taken the persubscription to the doctors today and it will be ready on friday when i start my period i was told i have to take it on the second day of period they are starting me on 50mg
