Hello to all,
Becuase of my irregular periods the doctor was concerned about my possible infertility so after months of ttc and no luck or a tall tail sign I was Olating (yeah i did get what i thought were + olating tests but..who knows those things are tricky) the doc perscribed Clomid. I am actually really nervous about taking it. My first dose is tonight. I have heard horror stories as well as successes, just as long as we get a beautiful healthy baby out of the mix i dont mind but the unknown scares me. Plus i am also trying to come to terms that this getting pregnant thing doesn't come as easy for me as it did my sister, cousins, mom, grandmother, etc..etc.. (we are a family full or fertile mertiles, ironic huh?). I am young, healthy otherwise, and active, but do battle with some high but not so seriuos anxiety. I guess i am just wondering if any of you ladies had a hard time mentally wrapping your brain around the idea that you/we need a little medical intervention to have kids? Also wondering if anyone has any good books that have helped them in there bath to have kids?

Thanks I look forward to your reply!
CD-3 first round/dose 50mg Clomid tonight...

It's a bit cheesy but to me it's sort of "play the hand you're dealt" - no one in my family (blood related) has had any TTC issues (my mom is one of 7, my gma is one of 12) but after I went off BCP nothing.............. So I started with clomid but now we're at the clomid / trigger / IUI deal..............

It can be very frustrating but best thing is to stay positive and not let it stress you too much. Easier said than done I'm sure. For me the clomid S/E were really bad but you'll find a lot of people who don't have many S/E at all
