Icon1 New to Clomid

Hello everyone!!! My name is Stefanie and I am new to this forum.

I am 26 years old and my husband and I have been married for going on three years. We have been ttc for about a year or so and nothing has happened. I went to the doctor in March because I was bleeding to much and they did an u/s on me. She thought I had PCOS. When I did the u/s the tech said "did you know that you have a retro flipped uterus" and I said "no what does that mean". She said that "I would have problems getting pregnant". I thought who are you to tell me all this. My doctor referred me to an OB/GYN and she said I don't have PSOC and that my uterus is flipped but every women has a different style uterus not for me to worry about that being in the way of conceiving. So she put me on Premarin to stop me from bledding and that was stopped in 3 days. Then she said to take Yazmine for one month just to regulate my homones because they were low. So I have taken Yaz for 1 1/2 week and I had to stop taking it yesterday because I was so sick at my stomach I couldn't stand it for 2 more weeks. I called my OB/GYN to see what I should do, still waiting on her call. She gave me Provera to take for 5 days when I start my cycle and then I am to take Clomid for 5 days and then " my husband get together" and you know. LOL I really hope this works I have wanted to have a baby for so long. I am trying not to get my hopes up but anxious to ttc. I look forward to communicating with all of you in your progress and hopefully together we call get through the emotional part that comes with ttc. I will keep you posted on my progress. Thanks for listening.

Thank you guys for replying! Today I started and I am sure it was from quiting the Yaz early. My real cycle should not have began till around the 10th. I am really not sure if I should start Provera tonight or wait till next cyle. I think I am going to go ahead what can it hurt. So this will be the first night of Provera. Good luck to you all.

Hi to all! So I just finished a round of provera and I start my clomid tomorrow which will be cd5. This is my first round so I'm pretty nervous to say the least, mainly about having more than one baby! But I've been doing lots of reading up on it and realize the odds of that are pretty low. Husband and I have been ttc for 3 1/2 years and I was diagnosed with PCOS last year after having a miscarriage. We figured I probably wasn't ovulating like I should and sure enough last month's cd21 progesterone test was 1.3! So now I'm just praying this clomid thing works! Very encouraging to hear the story of getting pregnant on the 1st round of 50mg, hope that happens for me!!! And thanks everyone for posting their experiences, helps to know you're not alone in this thing BABY DUST TO ALL!!!!!

I am taking Provera 1 thru 5 and Clomid 6 thru 10. I think mostly everyone takes theirs at night so you can sleep off the s/e LOL. Good luck to you and I look forward to hearing about your progress.
