I am new to this board and thought that I would give a little intoduction. I am 31 dh is 36. I have been ttc for 12 years but haven't been in active tx the whole time. I have been dx with ENDO & PCOS. I had my second lap Nov 06 and have been on BCP since then hoping to tame the endo. I think that we are going to give Clomid one more try. I did ovulate with clomid before but didn't have success but we are hoping that with one clear tube that we might have a chance. This will be our last shot as we can't afford IVF again and even if I did I don't think I can handle it emotionaly. I am now waiting for AF to get things started. I'm not even sure if I am excited or scared to death! :ekk Does anyone know how long it will take af to show up? I was taking Lo Estrin 24 and haven't had a period since starting it in Oct. I took my last pill today but took my last "active" pill on Tues.
Jessica, Welcome to the boards. The ladies here are great!! Im Kimberly. We have been ttc #2 for almost 2 years on and off also. This is my 2nd round of clomid, 3rd cycle this tiem at 150 mg. I am now on the 4 day wait! I am having good symptoms, but did get a BFN on Friday night. Schedualed to get AF on Wednesday. I wont (or at least try not to) test until wednesday.
Good luck, and you should also try the Chatty board, they are all great over there.

Thanks so much for the welcome. I will be starting at 50mg cd3-7. I'm afraid that its going to be another month though. My doc didn't mention taking anything to start AF just to call. Since I didn't have a period on this BCP I figure I will have to wait a full cycle for her to show her ugly face. Best of luck to you on Wednesday. I hope that Friday was just too soon. I have already started my "POAS jar". I have NO will power and always test WAY too early! Just can't help myself. LOL! BTW, what is the Chatty Board?

I am not on anything for PCOS. My old RE said that since I only had "PCOS ovaries" (I have the "pearl necklace")I didn't need met. Most of my bloodwork comes back normal, only my testosterone (sp?) was high. But clomid actually seems to correct this. I will pop over to the chatty thread. Thanks so much for the welcome.

My old RE explained that even though my blood work came back normal my ovaries had a ring of cyst as with PCOS. He called it a "Pearl Necklace" of cyst. I just thought thats what that were called.
