So my doc says my progesterone test shows I definitely did not ovulate She wants to double the dose to 100 mg this round. What I'm a little uneasy about is that she told me to go ahead and start Provera if I don't get AF by day 31. But what if I ovulated late and that's why it didn't show on the CD21 Prog. test? Maybe she's thinking that a late ovulation wouldn't result in a healthy pregnancy anyway, I don't know!!! What do you girls think???

I have never heard of a late ovulation being a bad thing...women with long cycles just ovulate late, thats why their cycle is long. I believe, but i am not 100% sure, that if you ovulate your prog. lvl will stay up until you are pregos or have af, so i assume she knows then that you didn't o, becuase it would be still up even on day 21. I have read that for women who are on Clo, if you dont ovulate by day 25-30, you most likely wont, and then the docs will bring on af, like it sounds like they are for you. Call her nurse and ask some questions. It sounds like you are stressed. I know i can't relax until all my questions are answered (even though i have a new question ever hour or so).

Hang in there, just know that there are other women out there that are on the same boat.

Annovulatory all previuos cycles

Well I'm concerned that i ovulated after day 21 which would mean my progesterone wouldn't have been up yet, see what I mean? and actually to make matters more confusing I just had my first positive OPK and it's day 24, whats up with that!!!?? anyone ever O'd that late? I think I will go ahead and call a nurse and just see what they have to say, what would really ease my fears I think is if they had me come in for another Prog. test in a few days just to make sure. Thanks so much for the advice, it is comforting to know you're not alone in this crazy Clomid world!!!

I got my first + opk on cycle day 24. Check out my chart. Progesterone tests are worthless (IMO) if not done seven days post O. Of course the progesterone test is showing you didn't O, you haven't yet. I would ask her for a second test seven days after you actually ovulate.

Chelle- DO NOT TAKE THE MEDS TO BRING ON AF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My first month of Clomid, I didn't O until CD26. Today I'm on 150mg and I'm just now starting to see a second line on my OPKs and I'm on CD24. I would just let nature run its course and just go with it. Since you got the +OPK, BD NOW!! heehee

Or, you know what they say...if you want AF to come, POAS!!!!

Thanks girls!! I feel much better now hearing that others have O'd that late. I'm going to call doc on Monday and ask to come in for another test. It definitely bothers me though that she would just tell me to start Provera not even considering a late O. Oh well, what can ya do! Good thing i was listening to my body, I had actually stopped OPKs on day 18 because they had all been neg. but day 24 I started having lots of CM and very sore breasts. So I went and bought another kit and it was almost positive that day and definitely positive day 25! Well even though I know this may not be my month it's still exciting to know that things are workin down there Thanks again for all the words of wisdom, it really helps!!! And good luck to all of you!!!!!
