Default My first (and last) round of clomid

So my OB recommended that I do a Clomid Challenge Test to check my eggs (since I've had two consecutive miscarriages). This involves going on 100mg clomid for one cycle. Keep in mind, I have very regular cycles and have been charting/temping for about three years, so I know exactly how my cycles go, when I ovulate, how long my luteal phase is, etc. There is never any variation. After taking clomid this month, my temps only showed a very slight thermal shift at ovulation (not obvious, like it usually is) and then they only stayed up for 8 days. At 9dpo, my temps dropped to the lowest they have ever been and I expected my period would start -- though that would be very, very early (I always have a 16 day luteal phase). But no, my period didn't come that day, and hasn't come YET after about 25 dpo. My temps are all over the place, but mostly low, and my normal 28-day cycle is going on 40 days. No period and HPTs are negative. My OB said she has no explanation for what's going on but that clearly 100 mg was not good for me. She said I could try 50 if I want, but I don't think I want to. I'm afraid clomid has totally screwed up my cycle and I just want to get it back to normal.

Has this ever happened to anyone else before? I always thought clomid would help or not help, but no harm could be done by trying it. Boy, was I wrong!

Good luck to you girls.

Sorry Christine, I hope your cycle gets back to normal soon and you get a BFP.
