I had a CD16 follicle scan yesterday and FINALLY got some good news! I have one mature follicle on my left ovary (2.2cm) and one on my right that is almost mature (1.5cm). My lining was very good she said...it was 12.1.

My dr. said that when I had a scan done last month it was on CD21 and my lining was only 7 and I had NO follicles!

She said my left ovary will probably release an egg anytime between today and early next week. She said my right would would probably release an egg the same day or around the same day. By the way...she said that any follicle measuring 2cm or above is considered "mature".

YAY! I am so happy for you! It's weird how the Clomid works in each persons system differently. Have you had a positive OPK yet? I had mine on day 12 so hopefully my follies were mature enough.

Congrats.............hopw this is your month! Are you using any opk or monitors??? Did they show you were close to ovulation???

Thanks girls I am not using OPKs because they don't work well for me since I have PCOS. I used them last month and they were positive around CD14 but I never actually ovulated so it was a false positive. I had strong ovulation pains on both sides last night and I am still having them now so maybe it is about to happen

good luck!!!!!!! a few months ago i was very crampy around ovulation time... (when i was on clomid) and i called my RE's office... she said that was for sure a sign of ovulation... if it lasts for several hours then just "goes away".

I think I was ovulating yesterday. Last night my right side was cramping but not my left anymore. Which makes since b/c the follicle on the left was closer to releasing an egg than the one on the right was. She said they may release at the same time or the right would be shortly after. My temp came up some more today. I played with Fertility Friend and enter a high temp for tomorrow and Sun and it gave me an o-date of yesterday. So I guess I may be 1dpo today. I'll know for sure by Sun. My LP is always 17 or 18 days so mine is more like a 2 1/2 week wait! Of course this is the first time I've ovulated on clomid so I don't know how that will effect it. Knowing me...my Fri of next week I'll be testing...I would be 8dpo then IF I did ovulate yesterday. I know that is really early to test but I am one that can't stand to wait! I don't have any tests right now so I won't be tempted.
