Hello. My name is Sarah, and I am from Massachusetts. I'm 24 yaers old. My dh and I have been ttc since July '05 with #1. I have been for a ton of blood tests, a HSG, and I am finally starting clomid 50mg. Right now I am taking estradiol & provera to induce my period, then I need to start clomid on day 3. I've been "diagnosed" with annovulation & secondary ammenorreah. I'm really nervous because I hear Clomid has a ton of side effects. I really need some reassurance! Thanx!

Hi, Sarah, my name is Miranda and I will be 24 on friday and I have ammenorreah too. I was on Clomid 50mgs last month and the only real side effect I had was being tired and cramping. Other than that I was fine. I think the provera made me moodier than the Clomid. Good luck! and Welcome!

Welcome. ! took 50mg for 1 month and 100mg for the last 2. I do get hot flashes,you should see me at work,useing a folder to fan myself. Other than that I haven't had any side effects.

my main side effect was hot flashes the first time, just started 2nd cycle with clomid and have not had side effects

I have night sweats or hot flashes while on Clomid! If you take the pills before you go to bed, it seems to help a lot on s/e!
