I'm back!!! Hopefully this is the last cycle fingers crossed

Hey all.....It's been a few months since I been here. Just alot going on in my little world.
I wanted to pop back in and let my friends know how things were going. Lots of new faces around here I see.....

Well as far as the act of TTC we are on round 4. I am on cd11. Waiting on the big "O".
The last two months haven't been great on clomid 150 mg. The first I didn't ovulate so the dr had to induce with progestrone to start a new cycle. Then on the second cycle my progestrone was to low. My temps never rose so no indication of ovulation occured then either

So this leads me to where I am now. The dr wants me to begin taking progestrone just as soon as I get a positive reading on my OPK. Anyone had to do this before?????
What were your ending results??? It is really starting to get frustrating on trying new things but nothing appears to work.

Anyhows, sorry for venting. Just looking to have others to talk to that is going through the same problems. Easier communication!

2nd cycle Nov. 07 (67 days) – (150mg clomid + 1000mg Metformin) =

( Clomid did not work took progesterone to induce af.)
3rd cycle Feb. 08 (36 days) – (150mg clomid + 1000mg Metformin) =

(Ovulation was not pin point. Low progesterone level)
4th cycle Mar. 08 – (150mg clomid + Progestrone once I get a positive OPK) = :

Donna,

If you haven't O'ed on 2 months of 150mg in a row, why is your doc continuing that same dose? I am wondering why your doc doesn't up the dose to 200mg (not all docs will go that high) or try another med like femara or injectibles.

Hey Lisa!

I believe the dr did not up my dosage to 200 mg because I normally ovulate on 150 mg. I believe the first time I didn't ovulate on it was due to alot of stress. Had 2 deaths in the family within months from each other due to an automobile accident. The second time I'm assuming I didn't ovulate. The doctor hasnt run any kind of test on me in the past few months to see if I did. I normally temp and do OPKs. My last cycle was only 36 days (which is a miracle because my cycles are normally WAY longer than that), yet my temps never rose high enough to indicate that I ovulated. So I'm not certain if I actually did or not.

Currently I'm on CD18. When I did my OPK yesterday both lines were almost identical. The test line was just a hair lighter. I haven't done my OPK for today yet, so I am hoping that the line is darker today! If so, then I will start taking my prometrium then. Wish me luck hehe

I've also decided that since this is my 4th cycle of clomid if this round doesnt work, I may try one more. If that doesn't work, I will schedule another appointment to see my dr. To discuss further options. My fiance and I are getting married in June. We are hoping for a BFP before then. If not, then once I get him on my insurance, we will get him tested. He's looking forward to that. I think its just cause he can look at a dirty mag HAHAHA j/k.

Well back to work for me....how are things going in your cycle? What cycle are you on? What dosage of clomid etc? Fill me in
