Icon5 I have a question!

I went to the dr. last week Monday which was cd 11 and had a follicular ultrasound. My ob said that I had one follicle that was 20mm and one that was 28mm. He said the one that was 28 was either a large follicle or a small cyst, and he will just assume that it's a follicle. Do you think that's a good assumption? And then he gave me a rx for an HCG injection, which I did the very next day. Another question. What are the symptoms of over stimulated ovaries, OR, how would I know it's was a follicle or a cyst? I'm on cd 18 today, and for the past few day's, my ovaries have been crampy and heavy, and I'm pretty sure it's to early for any PG signs. Do you know of any sites that will tell me the symptoms of over stimulation?

Thanks ladies.

Shannon...those follies sound great! I've had one that large before so I'm sure it's a follie! As far as overstimulation, I believe you have to have more follies than just two and usually you have severe pain and bloating with OHSS. I would do a "google" on OHSS and it should give you more info. HTH!

I had OHSS not on Clomid though. I was bloated, severe pain, and normally you get OHSS when you are pg. Also you do not urinate much. I had to have a cathater put in because I could not urinate. I was in so much pain that I could not walk.

Thank ladies for your reply's. I did do a google search, and I don't have any REAL symptoms of OHSS, the only thing I do have is the very crampy ovaries, at least I think it's my ovaries, but I keep getting crampy twinges, even today. Hmmm maybe it's a pg sign, I hope your right "waiting for joy"...Another thing I have been doing that I noticed 3 day's in a row now, is I can't lay in bed in the morning, I have to get up and pee right away, and I never ever have to do that!!! Can you start getting pg symptoms this soon? I'm on CD 19 today. For some reason this cycle seems like it's been taking soooooo long. If I don't get pg this cycle, I'm gonna try 2 more cycles with the HCG and then I'm done. ( I think )

What cycle are you ladies on?
