Hi, I'm new. Question about my lining?
Hi, my name is Alisa and I used to post on these boards all the time. I have an 18 month old little girl that i conceived using 100 mg of clomid, estrogen patch CD 4-14, hcg injection and IUI. I am trying the same protocol again this cycle excerpt instead of the patch we are doing estrace vaginally. i am on CD 13 and went in for an U/S to measure my follicle size and lining this am. I have 4 follicles, a 17, 16, 14 and 12 however my lining is only a 6.4. This has me very concerned. I also had blood estrgen and prgesterone levels drawn and those results were good. When I conceived my daughter the lining was at an 8.1 before triggering ovulation. I also had many more follicles and larger follicles that cycle. Does anyone know if my lining is considered too thin? Is my response to the clomid good for CD 13? I go in for another U/S tomorrow to check my progress. How much could my lining possibly increase in 24 hours? Any info you ladies can offer me would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Re: Hi, I'm new. Question about my lining?
hello i had the same issue this month and am taking estrace orally. i take 2mg daily but on sunday when i went to get my us i had 3 follies all about 20mm or bigger. but my ligning was thin too! My doc jsut upped the estrace she had me take another that day and two the next morning and 2 that evening and i am back on the regular dose now. i hope it does the trick i had my IUI last night!
it might not hurt to ask them about taking an extra dose or two of the estrace...
i hope this helps good luck

Re: Hi, I'm new. Question about my lining?
It sounds like you need a couple more days for your follicles to mature and to allow your lining to thicken. I always take an 81mg aspirin each day to help "beef" it up. Also, when I conceived my ds, my lining was only 7.6 the day of my trigger.

Oh my gosh,,, don't take aspirin!!!!! NOT good for you at all when PG or TTC. It has been found to induce miscarriages, especially very early on. Just a side note.

Re: Hi, I'm new. Question about my lining?
i found a website with infertility faq, and one of them said "what should my lining be at ovulation and implantation?" the answer said above 6, ideally between 8 and 12. i know that it can increase, so you have a great chance! good luck.

I'm talking about baby aspirin and it is part of many RE's standard protocols.
