General Question about Clomid

Default General Question about Clomid
This may have already been asked, but what is the difference or reason for taking clomid on days 5-9 instead of 3-7. My Dr. has me on 5-9 100 mg. Why are there two different wys to take it? If someone knows, let me know. Really just curious and because I am about to start my third cycle. Thanks!!!

Sperm count Jan 2nd 18 mil and Feb 22 39 mil.
1st Cycle of Clomid started Jan 19th days 5-9 100mg.
2nd cycle of Clomid started Feb 15th days 5-9 100mg.
3rd cycle of Clomid Started Mar 10th days 1-5 100mg.

from what i understand, taking it 3-7 gives you MORE follies, and 5-9 gives you BETTER follies. i took it 4-8 my first 3 cycles and 3-7 on my fourth. my body had a better response taking it 3-7. hope that helps!

1st RE appt scheduled for May 18= it went well and now we're testing, 1 2 3.
