The other thread was getting pretty long so I'm starting this one in case everyone wants to keep posting.

I am waiting for AF, she should be here in 5-6 days. Then we will do a cycle of 150mg. If I don't O this next cycle then we are done with clomid.

Where is everybody else in their cycle?

I'm new. I am on my second pill (24th-28th). So far no real side effects...three more pills to go. Should i be looking for any?

I am on CD12 and having lots of pain in right ovary also am getting the lights in front of my eyes this time! Strange!! I am also going back to RE as clomid alone doesn't seem to be working for me. He talked me into 1 more month. I think I ovulate as RE saw a few good follicles both cycles but they just don't seem to make it down the tubes. Think this is what they use trigger shots for so hope this is my next stop. Hope you get AF soon!

I am on my 3rd cycle of clomid. I didn't get any side effects for the first month but in second month and this month I was very moody. My side effects didn't start until maybe a day or 2 after last pill.
BUT no matter how bad they get (if you get any) try and keep the goal in sight, it will be soooo worth it! Good luck!

Lisa - Hope things go better for you on your next cycle. Whats your next step after clomid? Any plans yet?

E*Lady - This cycle was my fourth round on clomid. Luckily I did not have any side effects what so ever. What I did was took my pills right before I went to sleep. So if I did have side effects I may have just slept them off. Good luck to you!

Hi Paula! No update from you so I'm not certain what I can say

As far me, I'm on CD18. Took OPK yesterday, almost identical lines. The test line was just a hair lighter, so I'm hoping today its darker! Yesterday I actually came across EWCM for the second time since being on clomid. So I'm hoping thats a great sign too.

I'm on CD 23 (I think?!, see below!) and finished my last round of Clomid, 100mg on CD3-7. Just headaches for me. I'm not 100% sure I O'd this month, so I'm waiting for either AF or a BFP. I prefer the latter. My chart says I got a +OPK, but there is a post on Cycle Buddies that explains that craziness.

I called my Dr. yesterday and she said that if I don't start by 4-4, and the PG test still comes out a BFN, then she will induce AF, then put me on BCP for a month, then have ANOTHER period, and then start Clomid 150mg in May. So two months down the drain if it didn't work.

She also told me that if you use Clomid in back to back months, then it won't work. Have you all heard that before??

Today is day 17 for me. I think I ovulated on day 11 because I had a faint positive line on my ovulation test. I had some side effects both times i took clomid, night sweats, and weird tracers with my vision at night only and of course i was very easily angry. lol

today after I ate breakfast I started feeling nauseous, so I'm hoping it worked. Last time i was pregnant (in January i had a miscarriage) i got morning sickness at pretty much the same time. So I'm hoping I'm experiencing it again, that or my mom's easter dinner wasn't to good. ha hah ah

E*LADY - the most common side effect seem to be moodiness, vision changes, headaches and ovarian pain. However, some women have no side effects, even on high dosages.

Paula - they can also do a HSG (where they run dye through your fallopian tubes to make sure they are open) if they think the eggs aren't getting through the tubes. I'm doing a HSG if my next cycle doesn't work, before injectibles. A bonus - you have a better chance at getting pg in the 3 months after a HSG because it blows the cobwebs out

Donna - After my next cycle (150mg), we'll be doing injectibles. Sounds like you are gearing up to O, have fun bd'ing!

Trinity - your chart looks like you O'd on cd20. I haven't heard that 2 cycles in a row wont work, unless you are concerned about developing cysts. Then the bcp can help to shrink the cysts. I've heard that more than 3 cycles in a row can thin your lining and make your CM hostile. I hope your temps over the next few days give you a better idea what is going on.

Amanda - I have the vision stuff going on, spots of color and tracers. Was the test line on your OPK as dark as the control line? I'm not sure what a faint positive line means.

Wow, I admire your persistence. I sure hope you get you BFP this month. Do let us know how it turns out. I just started my first cycle on clomid 100 mg on days 2-7. Last year I had two misscarriges so I'm hoping that now with this treatment I'll have better results.

Well, things have changed since I last posted that! I finally got a +OPK on Friday (28th) and notice how late that was. WAY after when the dr. told me I would on Clomid. So that was Friday and we've been BD all weekend (as much as you can with a 5yo running around!). Today (30th) I took another OPK just to see what it said and I guess I still have the LH in my system because it was still positive. It was one of those half positive lines so it might be on its way out. I've been having dull cramping in my ovaries since Friday too. Also today there was a dip in my temp. I'm so curious to see what tomorrow reads.

So just wanted to give an update! I think now I'm officially on the 2ww.

Hi everyone, am pretty new here but getting lots of sound advise from this site.
I'm on CD8 just finished taking my last tablets last night. Had terrible mood swings on first and second month but this month I was ok. Had one tablet in morning and other tablet just before bed. Seemed to lesson all the side effects. This is my third and last round of clomid, GYN referring me to specialist if this round doesn't work. Good luck to all on your cycles. Hope the big BFP is just around the corner.

So I’m trying to figure out if the pain in my lower left side of my abdomen is from the clomid or from possible future ovulation…and ideas

Well today is day 27 for me and i haven really had any pregnancy symptoms like i did in January when i got pregnant on my first round of clomid (had a miscarriage at 6.5 weeks) Although i am super tired and have great mode swings. lol

Anyways i tried a pregnancy test this morning and got a big fat negative. i knew i shouldn't have tired it but of course its hard not to. I'm due tomorrow so I'm not sure if i should keep my hopes up or not. I do have little bouts of nausea but i'm not sure if thats just all in my mind or not?? Man i wish pregnancy tests worked better for me. The last time i tried the day my period was due and it said negative but i took one four days later and it was positive?? i don't understand how it would take so long, maybe it was because the pregnancy wasn't a very good one.

Hi Amanda, I was reading about HPT's awhile ago and it said you should wait at least a week after your AF is due to get an accurate reading because you don't have enough hcg in your system early in pregnancy for the HPT's to pick it up. You can get sensitive ones that detect less than 25IU/L so you can use them the day after your AF is due.

I try my best not to test early but I normally give in and then test again a week later just to be sure. I'm now in my 2ww and am trying to keep busy not to think about it, I know how hard it is to try and wait.

Definitely test again in a week, I've read so many stories or women on these sites that tested around day 30 got a negative then tested again in a few days and got a positive.

Thanks i will test maybe tomorrow morning. Today is day 29 for me but i'm not sure if clomid makes cycles longer or not? I'm normally always a 28 day cycle so I'm just assuming i would AF on day 28 or 29, but i don't even have spotting or anything and I'm constantly checking. lol

Has anyone had their heart race as a side effect of clomid? I've taken 6 rounds of clomid since July of 2007 and this is the first time I've noticed this side effect. I just took a round of clomid 100mg but the last few times I took 100mg it didn't do this. Just wondering. I got the Rx filled at a diff pharmacy and their generic must be a diff brand than what I am used to because the pills were much larger but they said clomid 50mg generic (I take two to make the 100mg dose).
