Default Cramping on clomid?

I started my first round this month trying for our 2nd I'm 27. I took clomid cd 3-7 50 mg. I'm on CD 14 now and I have a question for everyone. Today I've experienced a lot of intense pain when I walked it hurt on the sides and whenever I sat down I felt a pressure like pain. Needless to say I was walking around funny all day. I've been charting my bbt also On cd 11 my temp droped from 97.6 to 97.2 and remained 97.2 on cd 12. Then on cd 13 it went up to 97.8 and was 97.8 again today. I'm still confused about it all but what I think is that I ovulated when the temp dropped although yesterday I had the ewcm. but what I'm really concerned about is this pain its a little better now than earlier but I haven't ever had pain like this before and hoping someone can tell me what its means. I made an appt with my ob tommorrow but still want to know if anybody else experienced this. Should I bd even when it hurts to? we have bd on cd 8, 10, 11, and 13. Thanks everyone

Clomid can cause overstimulation so i'd let your dr know about the pain - but in general cramping is pretty common. My ob just said to let them know if the pain was really really bad (like doubled over) But all three rounds I get general pain in that area.

If it hurts just to walk / BD it wouldn't hurt to call them and see what they think - maybe can do an u/s to make sure you aren't overstimulated

I had something very similar this cycle. My temp went from 97.5 to 97.1 on cd16 and cd17 and then on cd18,19 and today, cd20 it went up to 98.1. I had pretty intense pain on cd17 too. Worse than I've ever felt. Then when I woke up the next day, my temp went up and the pain was all but gone. A little tender, but nothing like the day before. I did 50 mg. clomid cd5-9

wow does sound a lot like what I've been going through! I'm still having the pain no where near as intense but its still there. I saw my Doc today who didn't even feel there was a need to do an ultrasound yet. She said it was completley normal its ovulation pain and with taking clomid its increases this. so I guess this means the clomid is working for us like its supposed to so we'll see what happens I will keep you all updated. good luck to you all

I had a lot of cramping with Clomid also but I don't think it was intense as yours seem to be. Never hurts to call the Dr

I don't have any pain now, other than a little twinge on my right ovary once in awhile...but I've always had that. I'm 4dpo today and can't wait to be able to test!

I'm on cycle #5, I only O'ed on cy#1 with clomid. But the day I O'ed and the day after I was pretty sore.

I have also had pain around my ovaries even during cycles where I didn't ultimately ovulate. I think that is considered one of the side effects of clomid. Good luck!

I am currently on day 16 and I have been having the same described "pressure/pain" cramping since day 14, not unbearable, just noticeable, and I don't remember this from my first child(conceived on round 2 of clomid at 150mg).

I am hoping the pain will go away, because it usre makes you not want to be intimate. Good to know I am not the only one....I was beginning to be concerned. Does this mean I have ovulated, or have not yet??? Anyone know what the pain may be in relation to ovulation?

I had mild, noticeable pains a few days leading up to ovulation. Then the more intense pain was on the day of ovulation. It does make intimacy a little "unintimate" if that's a word...lol...but we do what we gotta do.

Faint positive is PREGNANT!!!!! Any positive means tyou have HCG (pregnancy hormone) in your system. Congrats!!!! I did cramp for about 4-6 days when I first found out I was pregnant, that is part of implantation and the uterus growing. I am excited for you. I hope all goes well. Let us know....make sure you drink plenty of fluids!!!
