Has anyone doen clomid and then trigger shot if so how did they know when for you to trigger.(HCG shot)

i am on clomid - and will be starting my clomid with trigger shot and IUI's next cycle.

i was told that they will give ultrasounds and monitor your lead follies - once they hit a certain size - they tell you to do the trigger shot.

are you going in for an ultrasound?

I had u/s to see how big my follies were. I believe they have to be at least 18mm to trigger. I also had blood work done to time it right.

I think what he is going to do is when I see a +OPK then trigger. I had been on clomid for 7mo. and he has never doen a u/s.Just when we go a + OPK we go in for IUI.
