Clomid, Preseed and BD question

I just order some Preseed. I can't believe that it's just 6 applicators for $23 with shipping. Do you use one whole applicator each time you baby dance? WOWZA!

Also, when do you baby dance after you finish the 5 clomid pills? I am taking them days 5-9.

Judi...I'd advise against using the whole applicator...gets a little slippery if you do!

I'd also check the web for other places that carry it...I got mine for a lot cheaper but I can't remember the website!

As for bding after finishing the Clomid: are you being monitored by u/s or using OPK's? Either/both of those should give you some idea as to when you're going to O.

... how do you stire it after you use part of the applicator? Do you still insert vaginally if you are going to use it more than once .. sorry if TMI question.

I was instructed to wait 5 days after the last pill and then BD for 5 nights. I bought OPKs because it seems dumb to wait if I might O earlier. I thought I would start the OPKs 2 days after last pill. Does that seem right.

I got my preseed off of ebay for $13.50! It is in a sealed box and is brand new! I also start taking OPK the very next day after my last pill! I am also taking clomid for the first time on days 5-9 I have done a few cycles before but always days 3-7! If you don't mind me asking why did your Dr. suggest days 5-9 for you?? I have always used the whole applicator so I can't give you any info there!! HTH!! Good Luck!

I read that if you use OPK right after taking Clomid that you can get false positives for surge line and 2 wait a day or 2. Did you O yet this cycle.
I just weaned my 21 month old son because I was having a difficult time regulating my periods after my MC in January. I am ovulating so my DR wants to have a "better" O and that's why he wanted me to do 5-9. He said I would have a mature egg and a stronger O. Also, I am 39 (40 in January) and he wanted me to have more changes hence the Clomid. My DR didn't even tell me that I could take Clomid days 3-7. I researched online and found out that those days can make you ovulate more eggs. Am I making any sense ... I have a clomid headaches ...

I'd wait for 3 days after the last pill to use opks or fm sticks. That's what is suggested for fm sticks.

I didn't notice a difference between 3-7 and 5-9 days. I always had 1 egg and I did about 10-11 cycles over long period. I'm sure it varies for each person. In theory though, more eggs for days 3-7 makes sense since you are jump starting more of them earlier. By days 5-9 you are going to get the follicles that are probably ahead of the others.

I believe fm is fertility monitor sticks??! I haven't o'd yet this cycle I am on day 4 of day 5-9 of clomid-does that make sense?LOL Thanks for the info on the days reason! When I took clomid on days 3-7 it seemed like it would work every other cycle for me so we thought if could get one good egg that would mature we might have a better shot!
