Re: Clomid Chatty Thread-In Search of Lil' Shamrocks!
Good luck with the P4 tomorrow Miranda. Why so early after ovulation? Mine is next Monday...which I guess will be 5-6 days post ovulation. Just curious. I guess every doc is different. I have to start the progesterone suppositories that day too.
Ali-sorry about AF...bah!
Debbie-hang in there. That baby is burrowing in for the long haul!
Hope everyone is having a good night...off to bd fest night # 2 LOL!

Re: Clomid Chatty Thread-In Search of Lil' Shamrocks!
Miranda and Brynn-I'm so excited that you both got your +OPKs, I hope they are followed by +HPTs! It would be so great if we were all pregnant this cycle!
Nickie-Welcome! I don't have PCOS so I can't help you there. I just recommend taking the pills at night to sleep through the side effects. I hope it works for you.
Melissa-good luck catching that egg!
I've been having internet problems so I can't come here too often. I'm asking for a referral to an RE tomorrow. I hope he does it for me. I keep having spotting on and off in the luteal phase and still spot for days before AF comes. I know my progesterone was great but I'm worried something else is going on.

Miranda - why so early for the P4 test? My doc didn't do those until like cycle day 21-23. Just curious.
Kelli - can't wait to hear what you are having. It will be here before you know it. I drank a whole sprite before I went in for that apt. and he was all over the place.
Debbie - sounds like you are doing great girl! I can't wait to hear about your 1st. apt.

Re: Clomid Chatty Thread-In Search of Lil' Shamrocks!
Miranda- I agree with Melissa about your p4 test. I have been reading and it says you should have your p4 test done 7dpo +or-2days. You may want to ask your doc about that. I know docs say have a 21 day p4 test done, but I believe that is if you have a normal 28 day cycle. Every doc is different though. Good luck!
Brynn- Where are you? We miss talking to you! When will you go have your p4 test done? I found a recipe for taco soup that I am going to cook tomorrow night, but I don't know if it will be as good as yours.
Brynn, Miranda, Tammy - I hope this is your last 2ww before you get your BFP!
I started using opk's this morning. I have a headache for the 2nd day in a row. I don't know what is causing my headaches besides the clomid.

Re: Clomid Chatty Thread-In Search of Lil' Shamrocks!
Well I didn't get the referral, oh well. My doctor ran a beta today. He is so sweet, he got all excited when I told him I was 8dpo and started talking about how implantation might of already happened and he wants to see. I didn't expect that! What are the odds of getting a positive this early. He said hcg is realease at implantation so if I am pregnant I might only have a number of 6 or something.

Re: Clomid Chatty Thread-In Search of Lil' Shamrocks!
Well, you all have me confused now. Today is cycle day 21 and that is when the doctor told me to get the P4 test so that is what I did... Should I have not gotten it done? I had positive opk's (saturday) cd 17, (sunday)cd 18, (monday) cd 19 and negatives (tuesday)cd 20 and (wednesday)cd 21. Let me know! I go to the RE Friday. I wonder if I should even go since I won't know if I am pregnant or not.

Re: Clomid Chatty Thread-In Search of Lil' Shamrocks!
hello girls. sorry i've been MIA. i've had a couple of not-so-great nights and haven't felt like chatting. i won't go into too much detail, but i will say this: for those of you who know about all the crap with my sister, here's a little info for ya. danny and i went to my parents' house last night to hang out before they go to visit my g-parents in florida (left today). danny went out to the hot tub and i stayed inside. as soon as he left, my parents verbally attacked me, saying how calculating and judgemental i was being. then they said that my grammy said that she doesn't know how i can call myself a Christian and that they totally agree with her. they continue to say i overreacted to everything she said and that they don't support me at all. then danny came back in and they both shut up and acted like NOTHING happened. i feel so alone. all because i don't want to talk to my sister! i just don't know what to do.
i am thinking of you all, and wishing you well. i promise i'll do personals soon. i just don't have the energy right now. hugs to everyone!

Re: Clomid Chatty Thread-In Search of Lil' Shamrocks!
Brynn, I am so sorry that your parents are being jerks, sorry, JMO. Yeah, you totally don't have anything to feel sorry for, your sister was a total jerk as well. I might talk to my parents about it, and just let them know that you are sorry that they are caught in the middle of it, but that you refuse to be treated like crap by your sister. Just because your family doesn't mean you have a free pass to walk all over someone. I am really sad for you, this must be hard. I hope that Danny is taking good care of you. I will keep you in my prayers, and I hope that you get to a place of peace with all of this. Hugs!

Re: Clomid Chatty Thread-In Search of Lil' Shamrocks!
Miranda-I think that the p4 should be done on 7dpo so I would let your doctor know you were only 2dpo for the test. Your levels will probably be lower than they would like for 7dpo.
My beta was only 1. I hope it was just too early.

Re: Clomid Chatty Thread-In Search of Lil' Shamrocks!
Tammy--I hope it was too early too.
Miranda--I would call your doc as well, maybe they will order a new P4 for 7dpo.
Brynn--Big hugs, I'm sorry about your parents, they are being ridiculous.
Ali--Sorry about AF. She is just pure evil.
Debbie--I had all the same thoughts with this pg that you are having. I'll keep praying for you.

Re: Clomid Chatty Thread-In Search of Lil' Shamrocks!
Hello everyone! I haven't had much time to write, but I wanted to reply to a couple of you and wish everyone well with ttc this month!
Debbie- Congrats on your too!! That's awesome that we were not only cycle buddies but now pregnancy buddies too!! I haven't had many symptoms yet, just sore bb's and really tired. I won't see the doctor until April 5 b/c my dh's insurance won't kick in until April 1. I hope they do an u/s then b/c I want to see the miracle with my own eyes!! I hope you have a healthy pregnancy and that all your worries are for nothing! I'm thinking of you!
Becca- The chiropractor is definately the miracle that worked for me! I started going the day after started in January and have been going 3 times a week every week and got pregnant in only 1 month!!! The doctor was totally shocked and it was just the most wonderful surprise b/c dh and I didn't even try this month, heck he was out of town every week for 3 weeks and only home on weekends and I thought for sure we missed when I o'd any way, but my temp stayed up and I decided to check, and there was my !! So I guess if you look at it like that I maybe went 6-8 times before I actually conceived.. I say go for it, it can't hurt!! I plan on continuing my treatment throughout my pregnancy. Good luck and I'm praying for you!
Jenny- I'm definately going to keep going throughout my pregnancy, if it helped me to conceive, I have faith that chiropractic will help me through this pregnancy too. (especially since it helped you have an easy pregnancy) The doctor said that with my scoliosis it could be a painful pregnancy later when the baby is fighting for room, so I'll do all I can to help him/her out !
Brynn- I just wanted to say that I'm so sorry that your parents are acting that way!! That was horrible of them to do that, and can only imagine how small it made you feel. I just want you to know that I am on your side (if it's any consolation) and I am Christian and I still feel like your sister deserves what she's getting. They just don't understand what you're going through and how harsh her words were to you. I totally agree with you. Keep your chin up and just thing of that you'll get this month!!

Re: Clomid Chatty Thread-In Search of Lil' Shamrocks!
Miranda- Ditto to what Meredith and Tammy said. Call your doc and tell them you had the p4 test done 2dpo and see what they say. They may or may not want to test you 7dpo.
Tammy- sometimes implantation does not happen until 10dpo so it would not show up on your test. Do not give up hope that you will get pg this cycle.
Brynn- I am so sorry about your parents and sister treating you that way. I wish I could fix it for you. I am having some problems with my brother as of yesterday and I cried myself to sleep last night. He only gets my niece every other weekend and I am so attached to her. We are like sisters sometimes and mother and daughter sometimes and best friends. He asked my mother why does Becca have to see Ashley every weekend that I have her. Well let’s see if I did not see her every two weeks that means I would only see her every 4 weeks. It broke my heart that he probably won't let me see her this weekend.
JessW- I am going to contact my insurance today (when I am left alone in the office) and see what they will cover and who I can go to in their plan. Thank you so much for sharing your journey with us. When I read your post it made me happy. Your cats are so cute.

Re: Clomid Chatty Thread-In Search of Lil' Shamrocks!
Hi ladies!
Brynn - I sent you a message on the pcos board. Hang in there. Don't get lost in the content, stand up for your principle. Our principles define us.
Mere - Thanks for sharing your thoughts on your current pregnancy. I guess its normal to worry.
JessW - How fun! Enjoy your miracle.
I am feeling a lot better. My ache that I'd been complaining about is better. Not completely gone just better. This eases a lot of my anxiety. I have mostly just been hungry and tired. I am finally letting myself be very, very excited. My u/s that will show where the baby is will be on 3/8 in only 7 days. I can't wait.

Re: Clomid Chatty Thread-In Search of Lil' Shamrocks!
happy friday, girls! thanks for the support. it's nice to know that i have friends who genuinely understand why i'm hurt/frustrated/angry. i thought a lot about it this past week, and thought about doing a few different things. i decided that i am going to call the pastor who married danny and i. he's the family counselor at the church dh grew up in. he's very knowledgeable and soft-spoken, and even if he tells me i'm in the wrong (which i doubt), at least he can give me some suggestions as to what i should do. i need some Bible verses that i can go to and just some good advice from someone who wouldn't automatically "take my side." this whole stupid thing has gotten bigger than me. i feel much better just knowing that i have a plan to get help. on a lighter note, i'm in the 2ww. i can poas around march 13. i'm going for my p4 test on monday. i'm very hopeful, but at the same time nervous. i so want to see a bfp this month!!
okay, i'm gonna attempt personals. there's so many of you now!
tammy- yeah, i think it's just too early. when can you "officially" poas? this 2ww stuff is for the birds. stay positive! we're going to be pg buddies soon.
ali- sorry about your headache. i really thought you'd see that bfp! i read that the metallic taste is a pg sign. stupid mixed signals! i know how disappointing it is. i hope you feel better soon, and that this will be your last round of clomid!
becca- how'd the insurance call go? thanks for your kind words. i wish you could fix it for me, too! i'm sorry to hear about your brother. how old is your niece? it must be hard for you not to see her when the 2 of you are so close. i hope he realizes he's hurting his daughter, too, and decides to let you spend time with her. hugs to you!
jess- thanks for your support. yes, she does deserve it. i personally think she deserves a lot more, but i'm just done with it. seriously, what kind of parent would say stuff like that? i really feel that it's their loss at this point. i don't need that negativity in my life. how are you feeling? i'm glad to hear that you'll be continuing your chiropractor visits. what a miracle!! don't be a stranger.
mere- thanks! how are you feeling? how far along are you now? hope all is well with you.
miranda and debs- i left you messages on pcos board. love you both!! you're the best.
kristen- thanks for your support. yep, i think they're being big jerks, too. i appreciate the prayers. i loved your belly pic!! hope all is going well with your pg.
anyone i missed, sorry! have a wonderful friday and hope you're doing well!

Re: Clomid Chatty Thread-In Search of Lil' Shamrocks!
Brynn- I talked to my insurance and I have to get a referral from my doc to go to the chiropractor. I am going to try to get an appointment and get into the doc next week sometime. If I get the referral I can go to the chiropractor 26 times a year with a 30.00 co pay each visit. I am hoping I get the referral to go the entire year. I think it will help me a lot with my neckaches that I get with my headaches and I do get them all the time. You would be amazed at how often I am taking ibuprofen.
My niece is 15; she will be sixteen this July. My Mother and Father had custody of her years ago when I still lived at home; so we lived together and that is why we are so close. My Mother said just don't call your Brother and see if he happens to bring her over for a visit this weekend; so we will see.
