Jenn...I think those are some good beta numbers and great news on your progesterone rising! I'll try to find a link to beta numbers and post it on this thread for you!

Brynn...sorry about having to reschedule your appt but those things happen! Trust me! Money around here is very tight after paying for IVF...we have 2 credit cards that we are feverishly working on paying off, hopefully by spring...in case we have to do IVF #2.

Hi Ladies! I am starting cycle 3 with clomid. I just started taking the pills today CD5. I am hoping it works this month. If not we are off to the RE for our first appointment on 12/12. I am gonna be 36 next week and I am anxious to have another child, also if one more person tells me to stop stressing about it and then it will happen I swear to god I am going to hit them! Anyway have a good weekend everyone!

Brynn - Hey girl!!!! Its been awhile....I hope that your positive was indeed a positive. I know clomid can make you have false positives early in the cycle. Which days were you taking them? 5-9 right? Then O'd on 10? I know the information regarding clomid says anywheres from 5-10 days after the last pill...so 1 day may not be right....If I were you, I would continue taking the OPKs. I took the answer (monthly ones) where you get like 20 in the case...and when I get my positive, the line gradually increases in color before i get my true positive. Good luck! I hope this is your month girly! Keep us updated for sure!!!

Hello All, I have been lurking around the thread for a few weeks now and I have been learning a lot and silently cheering you all on. We have been off birth control and trying for 11 months. I have a 45-60 day cycle (if at all) without meds. I am on day one of my second cycle on clomid (100mg). I didn't respond to the first round (50mg). Ok, now for my question... How many of you out there have been successful on higher doses of clomid after not responding to the first rounds?

....Welcome to the board....
As for your question, all women are different and all respond differently to medications. I can't speak for everyone here but I will tell you what happened with me. My dr placed me on 100mg the first round...I didn't respond much at all....I'm on my second round and I o'd within time (8 days after I took the last pill)....So yes my second dosage helped better than the first one. hey everyone- sorry i don't have time for personals, but it sounds like everyone is doing fairly well! i'm praying for everyone and hoping you all are hanging in there.

quick update- i talked w/ doc last night and she said my positive opk was most likely false. day 10 is too early to ovulate, she said (donna, you're so right! i did cd 4-8). so i keep taking opk's and see if i get another positive. today's was a tiny bit darker than yesterday, so i'm hopeful. come on, o fairy! i want a bfp!

Girls I have a question. Is there anything I can do about the hot flashes? I am on 150 this time around and they really seem to be so much worse. It is bad when you want to rip your clothes off at work because you are sweating so much.

with this round of Clomid! About the hot flashes: when are you taking the Clomid? I always took it at night, just before I went to bed. It helps to curb the hot flashes to the nighttime, while sleeping so you don't have them during the day. HTH!

Donna...Your chart still looks good! Your temp could have been affected by the air conditioner and not taking it at the same time! Hang in there...a couple more days and you should be able to test for that

to the board! I can't answer your question about being successful on a higher dose...I always responded to 50mg and the one time I got increased to 100mg, I got a 50mm cyst! Ouch! I know there have been several people on here (maybe not now) but in the past and have went on to a higher dose and gotten pg.

Morning all!

Kelli - Thanks for the support! Temp looks like it dropped again this morning! It was a bad week for me last week...I had to be up and out of bed before 4 a.m so I couldnt take any of my temps at the normal 6-6:15 time. This morning I overslept and didn't take it til 7:00 so I don't know. Don't know if I should even go by that chart right now lol.

Here is the question.....what exactly is CM? Is it the lets say "arrousal" liquids or totally different? I want to make sure I'm checking the right stuff next time if needed. I never received any "egg whites". I feel wet "there" sometimes but nothing on toilet paper when I wipe if you know what I mean....just trying to further knowledge incase

Hi Everyone! Sorry I haven't posted in a while. I've been delivering coupon books for Hospice, it keeps me pretty busy. Anyway, it will be 10 days since my last pill of Provera and AF still hasn't showed up. She is really taking a long vacation this round. Her last visit was Sept 8 and that was with Provera. But it doesn't seem to be working this round. And I sprained my ankle last night and pulled my lower leg muscle. I am hopping around on my left foot. lol I will try to post personals later this week!

I thought I would let you al know that I won't be around next week. Dh and I are going to Cancun for our 1 year anniversary!! I can't wait to be able to relax and not think about TTC!! I am 9DPO today and I still haven't decided if I will test in the morning or test in a few days. I don't want to be disappointed with a BFN!! Donna...sorry about the temp drop but it could be from the change in temp taking times! About the CM...you should never check your CM when you're aroused. That is a different type. You want to check your CM when you're got to the bathroom. I never get "eggwhites" and have never been able to figure out my CM and whether I'm fertile or not.

There is a lot of info on Fertility Friend if you do a search...it pretty much explains it in detail. HTH!
