I am about to start another round of clomid. She wants me to take 150mg this time since 100mg hasn't worked well AT ALL for me. She also wants me to take it for 7 days (3-9) instead of just 5 days. I've never heard of anyone taking it for a full 7 days...anyone have any experience with that?

I couldn't find anything, but maybe he is thinking that you need an extra boost, so he is giving you an extra couple of days of it.

Also, did you talk to your doc about your prog. check to see if you O'd?

It was on 100mg but after 5 days i had a three day wait for an u/s then since nothing really had happened i did another 5 days.

I did just 5 days of 150mg this time though

Dec. 07 - 50mg clomid - no O
Jan. '08 - skipping a month, cysts
Mar. '08 - 1st IUI , AF showed before I could even test
Apr. '08 - 100mg clomid twice, IUI
May '08 last clomid run -150mg, IUI (clear HSG)

Jun. '08 - come on b-day luck!!

Kristen...I haven't talked to her about the progesterone check yet. When I go in for my follicle scan I will be meeting with her that same day so I am going to ask her about it then. Yes...that is what she is thinking that by increasing the dose and the duration hopefully that will be the boost I need to see some good follicles.
