Icon9 CD21 Progesterone Levels

Ok...So I am on Clomid 50mg CD5-9 and I just got back the resutls from my CD21 progesterone levels. They were only a 13.2! I was told that they needed to be at least a 15. The only hope that I have is that the day 21 progesterone was actully taken on day 20...could that make me at least hit 15??

I know that I had the hotflashes from the clomid and I had a +opk on CD15...and I know I felt some really intense lower back pain...so not sure what coud be going on.

The Dr. is sure that I am not going to get pregnant so he has already called in my 100mg clomid script. it really sucks....

I feel your pain! I was on 100mg Clomid last month, my first time on Clomid, and my prog. level was only 12. My doc immediately called in an increased dose (150mg) of Clomid, which I took this cycle. Had my prog. test yesterday and am waiting to hear the results. I am wondering, though, why your doc's office had you come in on day 20...? There have been times that CD 21 has fallen on a weekend for me, and my doc said that, to ensure an accurate result, I should come in after CD 21 rather than before. Strange...

Anyway, good luck; I hope you get your !

Thanks ladies. I hope that the readings were wrong, but in reality...I know that I have little chance this month. Now I am just waiting for AF to show her ugly face! Hope it isn't a bad one!!

Good luck on 100mg. I got my Rx for 100mg filled yesterday so whenever AF arrives then I can start it on CD3. 50mg didn't work for me either.

It is like what my very wise father-in-law said to me yesterday...it is like blood pressure medication...you have to play around with the dosage!!

I am okay with it not working on the first try. I really am...I expected that after surgery and the HSG that it wouldn't work the first time!! Lets hope that I get at least in the 20's with the 100mg!!

Now it is time to wait for good ol' aunt flow!!

My MDs RN told me that a normal woman on no meds has a progesterone level around 6 to 10, so dont get too down. It means that you still have a slight chance. Mine last month was 8.6 and this month was 18.2.

I am still waiting for either AF or a positive blood test tomorrow.
