We are looking at houses to buy in the Fort Worth area and so far the property taxes have been OUTRAGOUS!!! Is it the same in the smaller towns? If we have to we might chose to have dh drive a little farther to get to work and be able to get a nicer home without the extreme taxes. There is such a big difference in fort worth taxes and our home town in ga, a nice house where we are from is usually only 900-1200 a year and in fort worth the ones we like are 3,000-5,000!!
