Default varicocelectomy Update

Well DH had surgery yesterday! At first they were only going to repair the ones in the right testicle...but after further searching they found some pretty big veins in the left one too. DH is at home recovering this morning...I feel for him...big time.

We are hoping because we found more veins...that the surgery will be more effective to our fertility issues.

The Dr. said that we should schedule another S/A after 6 months...(It takes that long for the flow in the veins to reroute themselves and then to bring on some fresh sperms (hopefully that makes sense). So in the meantime, we will continue to try naturally and after 6 months we hope to either be able to get PG on our own...or go forward with IUI.

After all this time...I finally feel a little more hopeful!

Best Wishes do you all!

Mindy

Congrats! I sure hope that will take care of everything and you can get pregnant right away once he is all healed and good! Its weird how sometimes bad news (like more veins) can turn into good news by them fixing it!

Keep us posted!
