Oh Carrie, that is wonderful news!

I will probably following in your steps as I got the news that DH's SA was quite concerning. He had only 5, yes 5 sperm and with bad motility. Needless to say I was devistated. We have done some research and looks like we have some pretty strong odds against us. DH was a preemie, had an undescended testicle, had femur surgery on both legs at 13 years old so he had lots of x-rays in his pelvic area, is overweight and lastly he smokes although not as much as before.

Next step is for him to see a urologist but DH is against anyone doing anything to his boys so we will see.

Veronica, I am so sorry to hear about DH's SA. and honestly aren't they such babies about this stuff? When we spend half our time on our backs, knees in the air with god knows how many people peering in our hoo haws!

Carrie, that is great! I am so happy for you! You have wonderful parents! So when will you start your IVF cycle?

Veronica- I am sorry to hear about your DH's sperm analysis. I know my DH was nervous about anyone doing anything to his "boys" too, but he finally came to the realization that he would have to have the surgery if he wanted to be a parent. I'm sure he'll be fine. Sometimes it just takes a little nudging, but you'll be on your way before you know it. Good luck to you!
