I think my husband may have low sperm count. When we conceived my youngest he wasn't smoking cigerettes but was just drinking mountain dew (caffiene) but he started smoking again and now that we are ttc, last year we tried for 8 months and nothing. We quit for about 4 months and now are back on the boat again but still nothing. Anyway, I have heard of this preseed. Do you think it will help or not?

Preseed doesn't help with low sperm count, if that is the problem. Preseed is supposed to help if there is a problem with your CM, and it is supposed to help the guys stay alive in your CM so they can make it through your cervix.

yah I think that is just the sperm friendly lubricant right ?? The only thing I have heard of is varicocele repair (that's if your DH even has that.. and that doesn't always work) and also Fertility blend.. but that didn't work for us either!!

There are several "sperm counters" available over the internet for yo to try at home. The only sure fire way to see if that is the problem is to have a semen ananlasyt done by a doctor. That will thell you how may and in what condition they are in. I also recommend that you also be checked out. I had a green light when conceiving our DD but now on top of DH's IF I have a "hositle uterus".
Things can change drestically from one pg to anouther. What I'm saying is that it could be alot of things and it could be something really simple like your progestrone may be low and you are conceiving just not implanting etc.....

I agree with both of you getting checked out. Also, I know it won't be easy for him, but I do know that the smoking and the caffeine can affect the count, so he should quit if he can. Hope you get a !

Thanks ladies. I am using preseed right now and if we don't conceive this month then I'll go get checked out by a doctor. If I am lucky, something will be wrong with me and it won't be serious, and will be taken care of right away. I can't even get my husband in the doctors for a check-up. He's so stubborn! I am HOPING that the reason why it's taking so long is because of not having enough CM to help get the swimmers to the egg.
