Default post varicocele repair SA

I finally got the resullts of my husbands semen analysis that was 3 and 1/2 months after his varicocele surgery.

pre-surgery post surgery
Total count 6million 73 million

motility 20% 67%

total motile count 3 million 49 million

And on his semen analysis it says Normal semen analysis

His pre surgery was anything but normal. So if anyone is wondering about the surgery, it might not work evrytime but it sure worked for us. We got pregnant 3 months exactly after his surgery. Good Luck!!

Oh my gosh, you have no idea how relieved I am to hear that. DH has an appt at his urologist next week to discuss his varicocele, and I can't help but be hopeful after reading your post. I know that not everyone will have such success, but I got pregnant once naturally (mc), so I'm praying for a miracle. I'm so happy that your DH had such an improvement. Thanks for giving me a huge smile when I needed one!!

Thanks for the info... DH had surgery June 4th. I was thinking of an IUI. Maybe I should wait after hearing your surgery. I called my GYN regarding the IUI. He wants to put me on fertility pills. I am a little afraid to take them. I heard stories of women have triplets. I would not mind twins. Anyway Thanks for the info...good news always help
