I don't want to overthink things and stress, but the thought recently crossed my mind... if DH has low morphology, is there a chance that none of his sperm will be of "quality" to fertilize my eggs in our first IVF attempt? I assume the answer is no, that out of all those little swimmers, some have to be "good" right? And with IVF/ICSI, they will choose the Olympic swimmers vs. the "wannabes" right? LOL. I'm trying to keep a level head and stay positive, but every once in a while, I start to stray and my mind gets the best of me...

you are right that with IVF they will choose the olpympic guys! I am not a DR but if his morphology is just low, I would still say that they will find a couple a little guys to do the job!

Yep.. you are right..
My husband had poor morphology.. my doc assured me that they would find some good guys in there.. and they sure did!! I was very nervous too and thought .. "since i can't get pregnant on my own, how are they going to be any good ?" but.. They were.. and I got a !!!

Thanks for the reassurance ladies! I go Mon for my first u/s (is it the one they call the baseline u/s?) and blood test. I should be starting my period anytime now since I'm off the bcp's and my Lupron dosage is lower. This is all so foreign to me! Glad there are some of you out there to guide me along my way into IVF land!

Hey!! Good Luck Tomorrow with your first U/S.. yah its the baseline U/S!! see.. you got the lingo already!! There is a great IVF board on here.. I post over there still and the ladies are amazing!! So feel free to come on over there too..
