Hi ladies - I'm undergoing IVF w/ICSI #1 tomorrow! We are doing this treatment because of my DH's borderline male factor issue. I hope to be able to report in a couple of weeks that it worked It would be so nice to put this nightmare behind us!

ladies - I just received my fertilization report!

I had 21 eggs retrieved and 12 of those were mature. Of the 12 eggs, all 12 were ICSI'd and 9 fertilized. Transfer is on Monday! When I was in recovery (which wasn't long), my RE came in and told my DH that I have the ovaries of a 20-year old
I think when she said that, it hit home even more for DH that his male factor issue really is the cause for our ttc troubles.

I'm thinking of transferring 4 embryos and freezing the rest. I had read on the internet that, if you are over 35 (I turned 36 six weeks ago), you should transfer more than 3. I've had many delays this year (first I wasn't immune to chicken pox, then having two b2b cancelled cycles). I just want to catch that BFP and not waste any more valuable time.
