Not sure what KD is either?? Drink lots of water, and I would highly suggest a frtility blend. Also I would abstain 48 hours before.

This is from Dr. Marks, a leading vasectomy reversal surgeon (but those who have not had a vr can still benefit):

Increasing Fertility
There are a number of helpful tips that can sometimes increase
your odds of achieving pregnancy. If you should have any questions,
please let us know.
To boost sperm counts and function, you should avoid heat
(hot tubs, hot showers, saunas, Jacuzzis). Drink plenty of fluids, eat a
balanced diet, get plenty of sleep. There are some nutritional supplements
that have been reported to show some benefits as well. You should take
Vitamin C, Vitamin E, selenium (200mcg/day), zinc (50 to 100mg/day) and a multivitamin with minerals. Coenzyme Q-10 at 50 mg a day will also boost fertility, as well as levocarnitine (1 gram) and acetyl-L-carnitine (.5 gram). The selenium, coenzyme Q-10 and Vitamin E should be taken together with food, at a time separate from the other vitamins and minerals.
To increase odds for success from the female side, she should also drink plenty of fluids, get enough sleep, avoid stress, keep active but don’t do prolonged physical exertion such as long distance running (which inhibits ovulation), don’t do any extreme diets (significant and rapid changes in weight due to dieting can alter ovulation) and take prenatal vitamins daily. Ovulation occurs in most women about 12 to 14 days before her menstrual period starts, so if she is relatively regular you can often plot out on a calendar when she is expected to ovulate. A good rule is to begin regular sexual activity right after her period is over, at 24 to 48 hour intervals until after ovulation. If you usually have sex frequently, then try to stay closer to the 24-hour intervals. If sex is less often, then no longer than 48 hours is best. Even when you’re not actively trying to conceive, sexual frequency should be maintained to keep the system “revved up.” This way, your sperm production will be at its maximum and you’ll be able to produce better volumes and the counts will recover quicker.
Afterwards, she should stay flat in bed for an hour or two. This will allow the sperm to stay in contact with the cervix long enough to swim up and through.
Though still somewhat controversial, Guaifenesin has been suggested to help achieve fertility as well. This over-the-counter medication is designed as an “expectorant” – to increase the water content in the mucous in your lungs so that it is easier to cough it up. This also increases water content in the cervical mucous and may make it easier for the sperm to swim through. Guafenesin is inexpensive and sold in most pharmacies. It should be taken several times a day, according to package directions, starting several days before ovulation.
Remember that even with adequate sperm counts and motility, it can sometimes take up to 12 to 18 months for some couples to become pregnant. If after a few months you’re still not pregnant and trying, please call us.
