Default Hi there

I haven't been on for over a year. But my DH and I have decided to start the long and arduous process of getting completely tested (more) for our fertility issues. My DH has had 2 very negative SAs, but we are convinced that with the right treatment, we can fix that and hopefully then begin IUIs or IVF.

I don't know how many people are still here from the last time I was on. Probably not many.

Anyway. Just wanted to say HI. I hope to be on here more once we get more involved in treatments.

Thanks for the support.

DH goes to see a new Urologist next week and will probably be given a cup to bring in yet another sample. We will have to wait and see what his diagnosis is, with our new insurance, to see what more they want to do and what more our insurance wants to cover for "testing and treatment"

Where your SA's zero, or just bad? If they were bad, what were the numbers?

The doc said the motility is at 0. Though I talked with a fertility specialist at a fert clinic and she said that seems really odd to have it at 0, with no other explanation...

Gosh, that is wierd. I sure hope they can find out what's wrong, or at least find some way to fix it. I wonder if they are dead in the epididymis, or just when they come out?

Suzanne! I popped over to this board today and saw your message. I haven't been here in quite a while either. Matt was on the clomid/proxeed for a long time and it didn't seem to do anything, but the morphology and motility improved, just not the numbers. We actually are going through IVF finally and I am only a few days away from the retrieval. The RE told us that it was our only chance to have a pregnancy from the two of us.

How is your husband doing? I remembered he had some sort of surgery way back when not related to fertility I think. Best of luck with your new insurance too.
