Hey, just thought I'd check in with you girls. How's everyone doing? I've just had one heck of a cycle. My af was a week late, so naturally I was thinking, "this is finally it!!" No, not the case. It just decided to throw me for a loop this month. So now I am hoping it was just a one time deal and this month will be back to normal. As another lady pointed out on the other board, if this cycle is the ONE, my due date will be right around Father's Day, which would be a pretty nifty present for papa!!

I hope everyone is great, I finally put a picture in my siggy, that was the only one I had available, I was just being goofy, I'm not really a hippy!!

aww Andrea, I'm so sorry AF had to play her stupid game. She did that to me several months also.. I also thought yes!! Its time! ugh..
I hope this next month is it for you.. You girls have tried long enough!! time to get rid of AF and get a move on !!
I've been wanting to check in on everyone as well, but just never wanted to start a thread! I hope everyone else is doing well.. Its been really quiet over here.....

As for me, we had a 4D ultrasound done last week and found out we're having a boy !! Its still just so hard to believe.. After nearly 6 years of trying, finally its coming true. I just pray that you girls get your dream very soon as well !!

Andrea, that stinks that AF did that to you, how frustrating!

Renee~ how cool that you are having a boy! I can't believe that you are 16 weeks already! how time is flying!

Sheri~ are you around? was wondering if you guys had gotten an SA since DH surgery? Hope there are plenty of swimmers there for you guys!

Kelly~ did I see that you are gearing up for another round of IVF? I hope that this is it for you!

Hey ladies, I haven't been around much. Trying not to think about cycles and all the bfn's. Found out we are not a great candidate for adoption as we already have one child of our own. We are looking into foster-adoption but are not sure we could handle giving a child back when it's time. All ttc has stopped since DH still has no swimmers and I still don't o on my own. DH is on new meds so maybe someday......

Hey Chrissy..
Who told you that you aren't a good candidate to adopt ??? I really don't agree.. Just because you have one child of your own, doesn't make you not a good candidate.. it makes you a GREAT CANDIDATE to want to adopt! There are tons of children out there that need a home and if you are willing, your dream of doing so should be able to come true!

I'd be seeking another adoption agency or I'd speak to someone else. That's just my opinion!

Sorry... I'm very opinionated on this topic!! Just doesn't make much sense to me!! Have you checked out the adoption forum ?? What do they say ?

I agree with Renee, why shouldn't you be a good candidate? that is a bunch of baloney!

Hey Renee~ I have been meaning to ask you (if you don't mind) I still am trying to find some way to make IVF possible, I have found that applying for a certain program, I may be able to get a round of the injectables for free. Would that make a significant dent in the price? or was that seperate?

Umm.. our whole IVF was added together. We used the loan only for the doctor and I paid out of my pocket for my meds. It will save you quite a bit. I believe we spent probably 3,000 on meds ?? It was A LOT of money!

the IVF was about 10,000.. and THANK GOSH we just paid it off !!

I really hope you can find a way. We used Capitol One Healthcare for ours and paid way more than we needed to but that was my choice. We got blessed with a bonus so we paid it off.. I hope you can find a way!!!!
