Hey Carrie.. well its been a rough morning.. I'm not sure what to think.. I posted on the IVF thread .. its labeled "I Tested".. You should go there and read what I've wrote.. and the other girls.. I'm just not sure if this is a neg or a pos.. I posted a pic of it.. some of the girls seem to think its a pos.. The only thing is that this HPT I used was supposed to be read in 3 minutes.. well at 3 minutes there was no line.. the line appeared at 5 minutes. I'm not sure what to think. The girls say most evap lines don't appear until after 10 minutes. I work with these tests daily and use them on women that are deploying overseas to make sure they aren't pregnant before we send them.. After we read the negative we usually throw them away.. but a few times we have had big groups come in and have kept the urine sample and test kit until the end of the day because we were too busy to trash them.. well at the end of the day none of those had a second line... I've never seen a second line (even after 5 hours!!!) so I'm not sure what to think. Unless the result was positive and that showed up at 3 minutes.. The instructions say it must be read at 3 minutes .. so who knows!! I called another nurse that works in the lab.. and she said she has had one show up at 5 minutes so they did a blood test on this woman and she was pregnant.. I'm not sure if she's just telling me that to keep me hopes up or if its really true.. I surely hope its true!! Gives me TONS OF HOPE!
Its prob a strong EVAP line but I'm hoping and praying God takes care of this and helps give me a STRONG BETA tomorrow.. I'll post when i get home from work tomorrow... I'll probably have my beta results by 3 or 4..
