Default Feeling Low

First, let me just say I so appreciate being able to know that there are others who are in the same boat as me and my DH.

We are going in for our next after-surgery SA on October 22 and I am dreading it. I am so scared that it is going to be another "no improvement" visit. It is making me crazy thinking about it.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to "relax" before a big office visit?

Julie

I would say....go get a massage, say a prayer, and try to feel confident that you can handle whatever the doc says. I know it is hard and frustrating and definetly stressful, but there is nothing you can do to change the outcome, so just try to take a deep breath and hope for the best sweetie! I hope its a great visit!

Julie, I know how you are feeling. My DH has his 4 month post op sperm analysis on October 11. My life has been so consumed with work that I don't even have much time to think about TTC and what his sperm count will be. (although deep down I fear that it's not gonna be much better than 8 million)

Good Luck!! I'll be thinking about you!!!

Julie - I prepared myself for those "no improvement" phonecalls/visits by talking with my DH before them and making sure that we were on the same page. That way when dh's results were disappointing, I felt better that we both at least were in agreement that we needed to be aggressive, and it cheered me up knowing that meant less valuable time would be wasted. I have read many stories of husbands w/MF who flake on their wives, which causes even more anxiety!
