Default allergy meds

Just wanted to let you know what we've discovered:

I realize every man (just as much a woman) is different. With that said, my dh was on allergy tablets for several years. His allergies were awful! We were ttc for about year, had 2 s/a and his count was about half what it should be.

He went off the allergy tablets and started allergy shots. In one month his count went from 4 million (lowest it's ever been) to 96 million! This month it was 54 million.

The only other thing we changed was I started giving him a prenatal vitamin. Zinc, vit A, E and D, and...something else is supposted to help some fellas. I realized that my prenatal vitamins had all this stuff in them so he gets one a day just like me

Our RE was SHOCKED at the improvement. Just wanted to pass along some informal info

Default Re: allergy meds

That is wonderful news!

We still don't know what happened in my case. I went from 27 mil and 26% motility to 78 mil and 78% motily in the space of twelve months. Morphology has never been a problem although everything else seemed to be an issue. I was on vitamins for a few months after my initial SA which seemed to help at first. I went off of them after almost six months of usage.

During that time we tried 1 IUI before focusing our efforts on IVF. We were very surprised to discover the 78 million count during our initial workup to IVF. We are fortunate to be able to say that we are expecting a baby this december. Thank goodness for IVF!
