Default Nucal Translucency testing recommended

I went for my 10 week appointment today. Everything went well. They didn't do an ultrasound or anything. But said that my blood pressure and urine test and weight were good. The doctor offered me Nucal Translucency testing though. He said he recommends it to all women. Apparently it is blood tests and an ultrasound to test for Down Syndrome. I am so fed up of all the testing, it prevents me from being able to enjoy this pregnancy. I don't think I am going to have it because a) I am only 32 so not high risk for this b) nobody in my family has DS c) I have heard that they can give false positives so get you all worried that your baby may have DS and then you do an amnio which is risky anyway and find out that actually your baby is fine. I am worried enough about having a baby with Fragile X Syndrome as I am a Fragile X Carrier. When does all this testing and fear instilling stop? Anyone else considering Nucal Translucency testing or have anything to say on it?
