I know this is a little off topic but I am so flippin' excited that I just have to share. My 18 month old son is napping right now, in a BIG-BOY-BED for the first time!!!!!!!!!!! And on the first try! I am just so proud! It took a few hours for him to fall asleep but whew!!! I am so glad!
That is so great!! We ended up HAVING to move the kids into their toddler bed (out of cribs) @ 15 mo since Brady decided to crawl/fall out....not good (scared the hell out of mommy). They just got big/twin beds back in Dec & LOVE them (as I do, now I can lay next to them when they are having a rough night or sick instead of trying to fit into a toddler bed). Good for you guys!!

I decided to just go with a twin bed right off the hop, so I didn't have to worry about buying another one down the line...He didn't even fuss or fight! Just played quietly for a couple of hours and fell asleep, didn't even get out of the bed once!
That's great!!! We moved my DD into a toddler bed at 14 months because she decided to climb out of her crib. She was so little I just couldn't bring myself to put her in such a big bed! At least now it looks like I'll get use out of the toddler bed again!
That is a huge milestone! You should be proud! Now you will have to be on the look out for a little 007! When we moved my DS into his big boy bed he became a midnight stealth!
