I'm hooked on this baby one-piece.
I have never had a baby in cold weather before, so I am looking at go-home outfits and things like that, and I'm so hooked on this little sweater outfit. I'll never buy it...too expensive, but it's it just the CUTEST? Perfectly unisex, too!

Re: I'm hooked on this baby one-piece.
That is very cute
My 2nd was born 2/11/05....I've done the "winter thing" lol...plus where I'm at it's not freezing that time of year (usually)....
I already have outfits for a boy & a girl....the 2 boy ones are cotton (not real light but not super heavy) and the girls outfits....one cotton, one short sleeve light courdory (sp)....I have socks, mittens & hats too....plus the blanket is a thick fleece.....plus my car will be heated lol....all my kids tend to be very hot blooded (just like dh)....I also live 10 minutes from the hospital

Re: I'm hooked on this baby one-piece.
I don't have access to my Photobucket at work. I have that in the Brown. My mom got it for my first with a matching hat. It looked cute on him. But his brothers white skin and BIG BLUE eyes. Holy Sakes Alive!! It was my favorite on him! When I get home I will post the pic! If there is a chance you'll have a blue eyed babe find a way to get the brown!!! It's a great outfit that lasted through MANY washings. Think nursing babies and blow outs!

Re: I'm hooked on this baby one-piece.
I live in Washington State...so it's just a little bit cold here in February.
Okay. It's freakin' FREEZING here in February.
I need something uber super warm!! We had snow one night here in June. Insane! I'm from Texas, and this is all really weird to me.
Post that pic! I was lookin at the brown, but I was REALLY loving the white!

Re: I'm hooked on this baby one-piece.
I will after dinner and the boyz are asleep! You must be Eastern WA. I am an hour outside of Portland. So I am totally in shock to have a winter babe. I have a June babe that came home in shorts. And then an August babe that came home in a light little cotton sleeper. I can't even imagine February. That's when we get hit outta nowhere! My outfit is 6-12 mo size. So it most likely won't work for this baby.

Re: I'm hooked on this baby one-piece.
Angela, I knew which outfit it would be as soon as I saw GAP in your link! I have looked at that outfit since my first was born in Jan. 2005! I love it, but I live way down south and by February there just isn't much cold left. I always feel like I won't get enough use out of it. It's a classic that returns year after year at GAP.

I love it!!! I doubt I can use it in Florida in Feb. But if I was in colder weather I may have to just splurge for the going home outfit!!

Re: I'm hooked on this baby one-piece.
I'm a couple hours from Canada, right outside of Spokane. It gets a smidge bit colder over here than on the West side!
I am going to beg my mother for that outfit I think...

That is ADORABLE!!! I spurlged on an outfit for DD, so I'll probably do the same for this one. I live in ND, so it is going to be COLD COLD COOOOOOOLD in February. I HATE our winters!

Re: I'm hooked on this baby one-piece.
Yes it is somewhat soft, but the inside is covered in t-shirt type cotton! Here are the pictures. They aren't great but you get the idea. I know I have more somewhere . . .
(Daddie's Ski Hat in the pic)
(Soothie in the pic this time and drooler bug sleeve)
(Can't get rid of the drool!)
I did notice that they changed the buttons to brown. But I still love that outfit. The only problem we have is we had to have the middle button hole (at the crotch) tightened. The diapers and sitting stretched it after two years. I don't know if the hat is still available or not.
Good Luck Ladies . . .
