At least my dr was frustrated too.....she's been my dr for 10 years and I've seen her mad, oh, never.....
The office has a girl who does all the scheduling.....she refuses to make them 2-3 appts out as well (the other ones will).......anyway, she never scheduled my c/s!!! OMG my dr was mad! There are 4 drs to rotate thru so I haven't seen this one in some time.....my dr (she's delivering the baby) is on vacation the last 2 weeks of january.....I'm due the 5th of feb.....and it's that first week she was gonna do it.....the paperwork has me down for the 5th at 9am....but the girl never set it with the hospital. The problem also is that there's already one c/s for that day.....they can only do 2/day unless there's an emergency (we only have one hospital in the entire county).....I am an emergency if I go in on that day with my water broken (I'm + for GBS)....I don't want the other drs do deliver (I don't really know them enough to be ok with them performing a c/s)....so now I"m waiting for a call to confirm the c/s....I'll be callling tomorrow and friday and pestering the appt girl until I"m set.
On the GBS note.....I didn't get swabbed b/c apparently the GBS was detected in my urine 2 weeks ago! I had no idea they didn't have to swab you then.....
Nothing else to report b/c my dr was busy yelling at the appt girl I go back next week.....
