So I have officially decided to cloth diaper!! I have been trying to do research on all the essentials I need to buy. I was thinking of buying a starter pack from someone on Etsy. I emailed her and she told me that the start pack was pocket diapers and they included the stuffers for them. But she did say that I might want to consider buying the small size versus the newborn size.
Etsy :: monkeysnugglesdiaper :: discount cloth diaper starter pack - full day - choose your size
The seller said "Our newborn size fits from 5 up to about 10 lbs, and the smalls 8-15 lbs. The smalls can usually be used an average 7-8 lb baby as soon as the umbilical cord stump falls off. The fit is rather bulky for the first few weeks, but it's more cost effective than buying a ton of newborn diapers that will be outgrown so quickly."
Two questions. 1) do you think I should consider this starter pack? I know I should try a few different type of diapers to find which works best but these are really cute and seem like such a good deal. 2) What should I do the first few weeks if the size smalls don't fit? Should I just use prefolds with a diaper cover?
Any other advice??
Thanks!!
